My travel consultant arranged for me to spend the day at this magical place since I was traveling solo. As soon as I arrived on the farm, I felt something I had longed for, a slice of Italian heaven. Stephan met me with a genuine warm welcome and walked me around the vineyards, villas, and cozy dining areas. I spent the day with Carla, who oversees homemade Italian meals and making sure guests are well cared for. Being a chef, it was important to me to respect Carlas’s kitchen space as I eagerly took her direction. We prepped, made fresh pasta and Ragu, and enjoyed the company of two guests staying from Germany. Jennifer (Jen) arrived to the kitchen from her many duties and I felt like I’d met an old friend. She is a ray of sunshine dressed in pink! We enjoyed a late lunch of pasta with Ragu, roasted vegetables, and cabbage apple salad, wine, fellowship, laughter, and Luna who stays close for crumbs that might hit the floor. As I plan for another trip to Italy in June 2025, this is at the top of my list! Grazie mille!
