Charmehotel Uhrerhof - Deur

This hotel was one of our favorites in Italy! The grounds are beautiful and rooms are spacious with plenty of space and storage. The best part is the amazing breakfast and dinner which are included in the half board. The hotel is very close to the Val Gardena mountain area (about a 6-7 min drive down the mountain). Everyone was so kind and welcoming truly I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and the people that work there. I would 100% recommend it to anyone staying in the Val Gardena area.

If you are planning a trip to the Dolomites and searching for accommodations, look no further than the Hotel Uhrerhof in the Italian mountain village of Bulla. The Uhrerhof is a beautiful family-built, family-run mountainside hotel overlooking the town of Ortisei/St. Ulrich. There is an immediate feeling of warmth when you enter the hotel and you are welcomed not only as a guest, but a member of the family. The rooms are extremely comfortable, several of which have a deck and a fantastic view of the valley below. Accommodations include a bus pass, which provides regularly scheduled transportation to the towns in the valley. If you have purchased a ski lift pass online at Dolomiti Superski, you can give that information to the hotel, and they will have the pass in your room when you check in. Breakfast meets all desires, with hot and cold selections, juices, coffee, tea, cereals, fruit, pastries – everything you need to provide energy for the day’s activities. After a day of skiing, hiking, or sightseeing there is much more in store for you – a relaxing beverage in the sitting area, listening to a crackling fire; a swim in the Infinity Pool with incorporated jacuzzi; a Finnish sauna, looking through its glass wall at the beauty of the setting sun on the distant mountain peak; or just relaxing in one of the spa chaises looking out at the mountains in your plush robe. To finish the day, there is a delicious multi-course meal that will rival any top ranked restaurant, with an excellent wine list to accompany your dinner. As a concluding remark, if anyone in town asks where you are staying, and you reply “The Uhrerhof”, they consistently raise their eyebrows and say, “Ah… nice!”.

The most wonderful place run by the most wonderful people. My partner and I stayed for 8 nights after having a truly very difficult year. After searching through, and I’m not exaggerating, every single hotel in Italy, I chose Hotel Du Charme to be the place where we could we could finally relax for a bit. As I booked the hotel, my partner did not know what to expect - and he was immediately completely in love with the place, as was I. Every detail is thought of with personal attention and you can feel the genuine warmth and hospitality of the family in every interaction. The setting is stunning, the food divine, and the spa is heaven. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, and I cannot thank the family enough for a wonderful, healing trip.
