Artsy Cascais

From the moment i stepped into Artsy Cascais i knew i had discovered a gem. A warm welcome awaited me as i was met by David and the team. Situated in a fantastic location in Cascais opposite numerous Art Galleries and a 1 minute walk to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants Artsy Cascais manages to create a relaxed vibe that feels like home and this is feel is because of the unbelievable attentive staff i have ever experiences under one roof, they all really care and i felt like i was being welcomed into their home. A gorgeous spacious room with its own cute balcony and relaxing area with retro fridge and refreshment area, i love the personal touch of use of your own Roberts radio. There are numerous books to browse through in the chilled out lounge area or you can hang out in the stunning roof top pool with the sweetest vantage point whilst sipping on their signature homemade tea. Talking of home made, you know when you are in your perfect place when breakfast is beyond expectations from their signature sourdough with homemade butter and jam, i was lucky enough to witness the making of this special bread and lots of love went into perfecting this gorgeous bread. Homemade coconut yogurt and granola you have no idea, every breakfast plate made with love, even my favourite oat milk latte. The evening menu is very relaxed with a mixture of small plates and main plates the choice is entirely yours. Sourdough with a stunning tapenade and beurre noisette followed by Bola de Berlim with a twist served savoury with Shrimp and Bearnaise, cured Amberjack with horseradish and coconut mayo. The beef ravioli with parmesan cheese and burnt cream was a game changer. To finish Cascais Nozes, a light cake made with egg yokes and very light iam pleased to say. I slept extremely well as the hotel is very quiet and the staff are available to help you with what you need throughout your stay.

Stayed there for two nights. Got a free upgrade. Friendly people, and staffs. Nice city. We enjoyed the stay and the breakfast too. Recommended. Coming from someone who is also a hotelier person. Such a nice boutique hotel. Will come back maybe in the future.

A perfect conclusion to three weeks touring Portugal. Simply excellent : the service, the accommodation, the food, the art, and the location, in a grand refurbished mansion. Francesco, the manager on site, understands “service” and delivers with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was inspired and a la carte, a welcome change from buffets typically served. Cascais is a wonderful destination and we really appreciated just being on the edge of town, still close to the water and everything else. Wished we had stayed longer and used as a base to visit Sintra. Cascais and the Algarve were highlights of our trip and we plan to return. Kudos to Artsy Cascais.

Wonderful little hotel close to everything in Cascais. Well appointed room with a lovely terrace. Delicious breakfast and attentive staff. Great recommendations for restaurants and local sites. Would love to come back again and again!!

My mom and I had the most wonderful stay at Artsy Cascais! First, the staff are some of the most kind and helpful humans I’ve ever encountered. That isn’t an exaggeration. From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, everyone we spoke to was so genuine, thoughtful, and lovely. Our room was large and clean. We especially loved the huge shower and the black out shades. The hotel, itself, was conveniently located to everything in Cascais. We walked everywhere - from ****** Estoril to Boca do Inferno and everywhere in between. The complimentary breakfast and the rooftop pool tie for our favorite part of the hotel. The rooftop pool was perfect - calm, peaceful, and stocked with cold sodas and waters. We loved reading and sunbathing out there. The (three course!) breakfast was magical. Our favorite dishes were the pancakes and scrambled eggs, but everything was delicious! We would 11/10 would recommend Artsy Cascais to friends & family and would definitely stay here again ourselves!

Beautiful rooms . Super comfy beds Everywhere you look is just inspiring. Breakfast was a work of art. The chef made me a special individual birthday cake. Staff beyond helpful. Any issues quickly and graciously dealt with. Smells gorgeous !

We spent one night at the Artsy Hotel-after licking ourselves out of our Airbnb in Cascais. What a wonderful experience. From check in to check out this hotel is a true gem. Comfortable bed. Exquisite linens. Plush robe and towels. A delicious breakfast. The decor and artwork. No detail has been overlooked. This was a perfect stay in a beautiful place. We would highly recommend and stay here again.

We travel frequently but I rarely take the time to write reviews; this place inspired me! Artsy is amazing. It just re-opened after a remodel and small expansion less than a year ago. The hotel seems brand new. It's truly special. The location is fantastic just a couple of blocks from the crowded tourist areas and a block from the beach but you feel like you're in a local neighborhood. We were here on a weekend in May and loved everything about it. The General Manager (I forgot his name) is always around and engaging. Super nice guy. EVERYONE on staff was a 10. Over-the-top customer service at every turn, question, request. Our room was V7 which was called "Artsy" it was perfect. Just the right size for 2 and had all the amenities. It's in the new part of the hotel and faced the park. The bed was comfy and the bathroom big enough for two. Next time I might opt for the "Artsy with a terrace" or try something in the OLD part of the hotel but V7 was great. The breakfast... WOW. I don't usually care about that part of the stay but this was an exception. Everything is made in-house and it truly was amazing. Lastly the roof top pool is super cool although it wasn't really warm enough for us to hang out we did jump in and had a drink up there. I'll finish with saying this - I spend a lot of time researching hotels for our trips and there are MANY options in Cascais- I would 100% stay here every time!

Artsy is a wonderful small hotel located between the ocean and a quiet park. The hotel had been an 19th century villa and has been recently renovated to a high polish. It is close to the shops and restaurants while also being very quiet. The rooms are stylish and the beds are large and comfortable. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant is superb (the tasting menu is highly recommended). Cascais has so much to offer and a stay at Artsy is an excellent way to experience it. My husband and I plan to return soon.
