Woken early hours of the morning to the sound of flapping wings & loud cooing noise.Got out of bed to investigate.Pulled back the curtains to the balcony door, saw a startled pigeon, in a nest- lodged in a large hole above the balcony door inside my room!

Fancy entrance, modern decor throughout. However, rooms aren’t clean, bedding is soiled, towels stained. Poor attention to regular cleaning & maintenance! Light switches are grimy, door handles (especially toilet door and fridge) stained brown with dirt. Floors, skirtings and white wall feature covered in dust and dirt. Little critters running around, some got into the bed! See a photo of what the room with an ‘outside’ sitting area looks like. Pigeon poop all over, hasn’t been cleaned in a long time with cigarette butts littering the floor. Usually booked by popular travel tour companies, so be aware. Steer clear! Accommodation can be basic, but cleanliness is paramount!

This is a well-located hotel on the tram line, 1.5 km from the touristic pedestrian mall. The room was a little dated, but had firm, clean mattresses, clean bedsheets, and an updated bathroom. The buffet food was probably the best one during our tour of Marocco, with a wide selection of food including some local food choices. The problem is that we did not go with a group to the dinner buffet. The (male) server charged us each for the included drink (and we chose water). This was not accidental, as other tour group members who dined separately were also charged for their included drinks. We went with the waiter to discuss this with 3 other (male) servers/managers at the cashier station. They all insisted that the drink was not included in the price. We debated this (in French and English, so there was no language barrier), but after a few minutes, we felt uncomfortable arguing in a foreign country and just paid for the drinks. As you can see from the photos, the menu includes a wide selection of drinks. It is a shame that a hotel which should have received a very good rating has staff colluding to scam their guests at the dinner buffet.

The room is clean, well equiped. The bath door can't be closed (not fixed despite my request) noisy room near the tram and a busy road. No more food if you arrive late for breakfast or diner. Impolite staff. No glass or plate available in the restaurant.

My room was lovely and spacious with both a mini fridge (not a mini bar) and tea and coffee making facilities. I feel however that the hotel should make it clear on their website that this is a 'dry' hotel, despite advertising a bar. There is no alcohol sold anywhere in the hotel so a glass of wine with my evening meal after a long day of travelling was out of the question. Also, I had a very early start the following day and though I was initially grateful for the tea and coffee making facilities in this 5 star establishment, I was amazed to find that if milk was required, there was an extra charge.

New Hotel bang slap on main road with trams running up and down in this busy vibrant city. 2 night stop would be okay, compared to other hotels across Morocco clean rooms and helpful staff. Restaraunt set out like the old Wimpy bars UK, and sadly ZERO provision for Celiac or Gluten Free food..... despite having been asked 2 months before.... and phone call to Reception. A brief stay..... it's okay.

Really good bedrooms, nicely decorated (although the aircon did not work properly). Service at dinner was from polite and pleasant but not particularly attentive staff. Likewise, reception were not very proactive in giving much information. The impression left was that guests were an inconvenience. It would have been nice to have some information about the area and such things as the WiFi code. The food was good and varied. All drinks (including water) seemed to be charged in addition to the food. Internet was flaky and varied from 0.02 to 5 Mbps. Overall a nice hotel but service was 3* and not much more.

A really good little hotel with staff really trying to make sure everything works well for your stay. I was sad that we only had one night at this hotel on our tour as it was far better than the others. Rooms were clean and bright and well maintained. A huge buffet spread both in the evenings and for breakfast so you really could not fault what was on offer. It is a "dry" hotel but two or three doors along you can use the bar in the Ibis hotel which was lovely too.
