We absolutely love this place! It has everything, multiple pool options, one with a bar , aqua games , music , food etc. Another pool area with a very small bar which was handy but not too much! The pool was much quieter but still lovely people and atmosphere. Our apartment was beautiful! Modern , clean, well equipped. We had a minor issue with our shower but someone was out to fix it straight away. We were helped with our bags / shopping on the first day without any issues! This resort is in a perfect location, around a 20 minute downhill walk into Carvoeiro town and around 5 mins in an uber which was usually around €4. There is also a beautiful italian restaurant opposite the reception which we LOVE! We will back here very very soon, not one complaint 🫶🏼

We’ve been coming to Carvoeiro for around 30 years and use this place as a base for quick drinks, changing or a handy taxi drop off point. We were here in June and was genuinely pleasantly surprised at the service and food quality. Sadly, now it’s August and the bar and restaurant area are back to their normal sub standards… There is an older guy who works there who is excellent and really wants to make it nice. But the girl who served us (reluctantly) at 6.45 on a Wednesday evening was just dreadful. The food standard has dropped again and do not attempt breakfast! We ordered breakfast for 5 people and it was ALL inedible. Why can’t they serve decent food and drinks and stay open beyond 7pm??

We will be back! So many aspects of our stay were positive. On arrival we chatted to some nice guys at reception. Our apartment was way better than expected- spotlessly clean, hairdryer & straightener, full kitchen, comfortable living room and a nice back outdoor area with plentiful privacy. We were a minute walk away from the lovely pool area. It is a very big resort area so you need to be prepared to walk or drive. The single recommendation we'd have would be to increase signposting to the accommodation areas. On our last night we ate in the restaurant opposite reception. This might just be our highlight. In addition to good food, there was an excellent singer entertaining us AND best of all a seemingly resident cat doing the rounds. We only wish our stay was longer but we definitely plan on returning.

Stayed in a premium ground floor 1 bed apartment (602) whilst this was some 5/8 min walk from Reception it was perfect, fully refurbished to a good standard , very clean ,kitchen with all appliances and all utensils and pots . We didn’t choose to cook but it would be fully possible if you chose too. Nice patio leading to pool area we had breakfast in the sun each morning Very quite , mostly couples but a few families with children Large pool and separate kids pool The main reception area has 2 pools and bar / restaraunt The resort reception is 15 minute walk downhill to the centre of town, just remember it’s the same distance uphill after a few drinks!! Plenty of taxis in town A very pleasant stay thank you

Nice resort plenty of pool areas and sun loungers. About a 15-20 minute walk from the town center but Ubers are very cheap. We originally booked a standard apartment and upgraded to a premium on day 2 as we felt the standard apartment was a little too basic whereas the premium is wonderful. Onsite restaurant is good, though service is very slow. Staff of the resort and restaurant are lovely and very helpful. There is an onsite Spar for daily needs, the onsite bar is great for a snack at lunchtime but it closes at around 9pm which is a shame as it would nice to have a drink by the pool.

I’ve been to QdP 6 times now, staying in various accommodation types from apartments to 6 bed villas with private pool & I can honestly say that I’ve always enjoyed my stay 100% … from the poolside bars to the on site restaurant the local shop to the reception everyone without fail has tried their best to enhance our stay & their have succeeded… as far as I’m concerned you can’t get a safer bet for money well spent than QdP….. can’t wait to return for the 7th episode in June 25…

We booked this last minute on a leading travel website with a blue logo. The pictures on the website bore no resemblance to the room we were given. E g. One bathroom and not two bathrooms. We were a group of three friends and two of us were a couple hence the requirement. We were tired after a long days travelling. We complained that we felt they had been mislead. The manager said oh yes "we have had this before" and "we have some rooms which would make you" and he made the vomit action. We were staggered by this. They did offer a full refund but made it very difficult for 3 hours as it has been booked via the website. Eventually they agreed to refund us over the counter. My advice steer clear OR at the very least see the room first. NO on second thoughts steer WELL CLEAR

Beautiful place to stay, the staff were amazing very friendly and helpful the only downside was the bed it was the worst thing I have ever tried to sleep on, none of us had a good nights sleep here, we slept between the sofa and the kids single bed, my husband even spent a night sleeping on the pool floatie that’s how bad it was, my sister stayed in a different apartment and her bed wasn’t as bad. The pools were lovely and quiet the major upside to this place was it wasn’t full of English getting drunk letting their kids run wild, it has a very relaxed chilled out atmosphere

Had a week on , lovely cocktails with a happy hour rush. Great food on caravela and on the Italian Restaurant!! Great Thanks to the 2 guys on Caravela , they really knew what they were doing about the drinks. Our favourite was the Caravela sinks!! Only negative thing was the spanish girl, was not on “mood” i think so, was rude with us and about 22h she said no more cocktails cause she had ALL bar clean…..cmon … im about to spend money … the bar closes at 23:30/00:00 i think. Love Carvoeiro and ALL the beaches with the Great views. Reception could give us ALL info, Great work See you next year!!!
