What a great place, myself and my fiancé booked to stay here for one night as we were attending a wedding, the wedding started at 14:00 which was before check in, I phoned the day before to request an early check in so that we could get dressed for the wedding, the lovely receptionist Amy was very helpful, she explained that the hotel was at full capacity the night before but would do everything she could to get the room ready early for us but couldn’t promise. On the drive down from Belfast Amy phoned me to tell me the room was ready, brilliant customer service and such a welcoming experience, really made us feel welcome and comfortable, all the staff in mckevitts are really friendly and attentive, really makes for a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed our stay here and can’t wait to return. Rooms clean and comfortable and really nice food. 10/10 for staff here

Had food from Bar Menu, Chowder and Thai beef salad. Both were excellent, Chowder best ever, packed with fish prawns mussels. No potato filler. Beef very plentiful tender and tasty. The bar I'd busy for food so obviously others heard how good it is.

Visited Mckevitts on a Sunday evening which was busy, positive can do attitude by the team which were very accommodating and helpful. I like to support local businesses and when you get good service it’s nice to recognise it. Well done to all, keep doing what you’re doing and keep it up.

Stopped in for dinner Saturday evening..Great service fabulous food great atmosphere..given a table straight away even though it was very busy..burger was awesome and my wife had the Thai beef salad which was fantastic..couple beside us had dessert which looked gorgeous but we were too full...

Great little hotel - much better than the pictures would even suggest. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean with all you could need. More modern than I thought they would be. Staff were all so friendly and chatty. Right from check in through to the bar and restaurant and the cleaning team. Food was great - we ate lunch, dinner and breakfast in the hotel through our stay simply because it was great value and great quality. Can't fault the place, will absolutely return.

Exceptional service, delicious food, a must eat! Have lots of allergies but was craving scampi. Amazing waitress (sorry didnt get young ladies name) really informed and helpful,talented,kind chef Joe came to my aid and created an amazing scrumptious prawn dish. Highly recommend their gluten free bread, yummy. Highly recommend to anyone with food intolerance or allergies just say and the staff here really will get you a tasty meal. Thanks so much 5 stars

What a hidden gem. We weren't sure what to expect but this hotel was full of surprises. The food in the restaurant was superb, our room was pleasant and the staff were very helpful. The hotel is situated in the middle of the village, which in itself is also a hidden gem. We used the hotel to break our journey from Dublin to the north. We shall definitely use this hotel again!

Fantastic place to stay. We stayed in room 6, it was very spacious, spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable . Each member of staff we came into contact were so warm, welcoming and friendly. The girl who checked us in ( pretty sure her names Tara ) was really lovely and chatty . Breakfast was lovely, particularly the French toast . It is definitely somewhere I would go back and stay again .

Called into the bar Sunday,fella playing the music was excellent,he interacted with everyone, music suited everyone,but it was the barman Tommy who made our experience brilliant, great banter,knew our order when we were looking drinks, professional at his job and kept customers happy, definitely will return because of Tommy, thanks for great service
