What have they done to the bar? It's so sad how these crappy companies come in with zero taste and crap all over the quirkiness and feel of a proper walkers bar. Gone are the proper pictures of climbers, Walkers and equipment. In place, generic awful pictures and 'art' to appeal to the yuppies and open plan room with industrial lights. Sure the hotel is better, but the bar has lost all it's charm. Such a shame!!!

Tyn y coed was a great base for our walking break in Eryri. The rooms were comfy and very clean. It was useful to have tea and coffee facilities available. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Tasty breakfasts and meals and it was good to see local produce being used. Diolch yn fawr!

We stayed here as it was recommended from the Zipworld website (as we were in Wales for this experience). We were so happy with our experience at this hotel. The view is absolutely stunning from everywhere you look, the walks in the area are gorgeous, the rooms are clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The food in the restaurant was nice and the staff were all incredibly friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel and will hopefully be back again another day!

Super friendly staff, good food, jovial atmosphere. Nothing too fancy, but with plenty of choice. Nice beer garden in the sun. Bus stops outside. There is huge car park (remember to add your car reg to get free parking) What more do you need after a yom up the hill?

lovely hotel in a fantastic location .newly refurbed and staff were brilliant , its my local and we had a fantastic meal. i had the rib eye steak and i can honestly say i've never had better. well done to all keep up the hard work . you will see a lot more of us

Superbly located for exploring all of Snowdonia and Anglesey this is very much designed to be for outdoors people be it walkers, climbers, cyclists or other outdoor pursuits. Staff are friendly and welcoming, food is unsophisticated but good with very generous portions to satisfy outdoor appetites. The Inn has had a makeover in the past year with new double glazed windows to keep out the noise of the busy A5, covered outdoor seating, and extra room and windows in the bar/restaurant. Plenty of parking available, free to hotel residents

I can't fault this place front facing room with a beautiful view, the staff have been absolutely top notch very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy with comfy beds with a really nice powerful shower perfect after along day out. The restaurant downstairs has a really cosy feel and the food is delicious. In honesty I rarely write a review this place just really deserves a great review.

We had a warm welcome and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed. The restaurant was excellent, food was delicious and freshly prepared. We loved our stay and will definitely be back.

Welcoming and helpful staff who found safe storage for 3 bikes, and catered for vegan dietary requirements. Good food and beer. Had the Siabod burger and it was superb. Comfortable and clean room, good shower- only room ****** was if you leave the window open it lets lots of midges in, and got hot with it closed. Excellent breakfast- very very filling!
