Room: spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was on the highest floor and it was quiet. If you’re traveling with an elderly, just be cautious as the shower floor is extremely slippery. One downside is that water pressure and temperature is not very stable. Location: situated in the heart of CBD, it’s a fairly safe area. Parking available for hotel guests and shuttle available to V&A Waterfront Staff: Front desk and lobby staff are friendly and welcoming. Security at the hotel and parking were also very friendly and helpful. Most staff at the restaurant were not as friendly (most but still a few staff was friendly and helpful and provided great service) Staff often forget guests’ drink orders as 2 days in a row, we did not get our tea during breakfast. I also ordered a cappuccino while waiting in front or the coffee machine however I was forgotten as well. I was better off making my own coffee. Breakfast: They served standard American style breakfast with selection of fruits, pastries and salads. Their hashbrowns were my favourites! If only the food can be a little different everyday, we stayed there for 4 days and had the same food everyday. Overall, we enjoyed our stay room but restaurant staffs’ service and attitude can be improved.

My recent stay at Pullman Cape Town was overall very pleasant. The hotel itself is modern, well-maintained, and conveniently located in the heart of the city. The lounge area is a real highlight stylish, comfortable, and offering an excellent selection of wines that showcase some great South African labels. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a long day exploring the city. The front desk and reception staff were outstanding friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout the stay. However, this high standard of service doesn’t quite carry through to the restaurants. Service there can be inconsistent, with some staff being great while others seem a bit disengaged. Breakfast was the most underwhelming part quite average with a limited selection, especially compared to the overall standard of the hotel. It’s functional but not memorable. On the plus side, the property offers free parking, which is a big advantage in central Cape Town, though it’s worth noting there’s no valet service. Overall, Pullman Cape Town delivers a comfortable and upscale stay with great hospitality at the front desk, an elegant lounge, and excellent wines just don’t expect the same polish at breakfast.

I don’t feel safe in this hotel. Someone went through my luggage and stole money. Hotel didn’t do anything. I didn’t feel safe. very bad experience

Hotel shuttle to and from the waterfront is unreliable. Twice we have booked to return from the waterfront to the hotel, the shuttle did not turn up and reception had no record of our booking. We were also advised that hotel surrounding area is not safe to walk around.

Unfortunately, it was one of the worst staycation experiences of my life. The hotel qualifies itself as 5 stars but in reality it is at most 3. You can encounter a very long star check-in, this was the case for all our colleagues. Location - honestly, it is in an unsafe place, you can't go out of the hotel in the evening, you can't even walk a couple of metres. Breakfasts - very average, very Also the hotel has big problems with communication - couldn't get through to the hotel (it would hang up), emails were not answered. Take these factors into account if you decide to book.
