Lawhill Luxury Apartments by TPF

We rented a 3-bedroom ground floor with a plunge pool apartment and it was wonderful, perfect for a group of 6 adults. A short walk into the V&A shopping area with lots of bars and restaurants. The staff were all super helpful. I will be back for sure.

Would always return here after 3 stays already. Hugely convenient for the V&A waterfront, easy parking and space for the cost vs a hotel - the One and Only is next door, Cape Grace opposite by way of example. Fully stocked apartment with separate living room and kitchen with everything you need to eat in if you wish. We even made use of the washer and dryer this trip to save weight on our onward safari. Would highly recommend

We spent 3 nights at the Lawhill apartments only to realise on the last day that we had been stolen from. They stole 1100 USD from our safe. The management was extremely callous and kept saying they are investigating without actually doing anything. It’s extremely disappointing that a luxury apartment in an area meant to be the safest in Cape Town has come down to such nuances.

Will NEVER RECOMMEND They steal money from the safe Many people have lost before also I along with my family checked in law hill apartment on 28 Feb 2025 for 3 nights On the last night of our stay we checked our money and to our great disappointment 1100 US dollars were missing . Seems to be a seasoned thief as only part of our money was stolen We immediately informed them Next day Mr Ahmed came to our room and took details Since 3-4 days I am trying to reach them and getting only one reply from Ms Lize that they are investigating Later on I read many reviews that many people have lost money over there I think they are all hand in glove and management is least bothered as we are back to our country now and can’t do much We had been to Mabula, sun city and knysna before coming to law hill but didn’t have any problems

Check in was straightforward. We arrived a little earlier than expected and asked to store our luggage but our apartment was ready straight away, which was very welcome. Apartment was very well equipped, plenty of free water in the fridge and a big balcony overlooking the canal. We ate out mostly but could have easily self catered as everything was provided. Location was superb, just a few minutes walk from the V&A, although we did find that Uber drivers had difficulty finding it. So for the one negative, which was very big for us and stopped this being a 5 star rating. One evening the fire alarm went off. We followed the instructions on the back of the apartment door but found the exit we were guided to had been shuttered. We had to go back into the building and use an electric door (that was thankfully working) to get outside. We met other guests but no staff. No-one knew what was happening or where we were meant to be. We made our way round the building to reception to find the staff still checking guests in! We all waited half an hour and as there was still no communication from the staff we returned to our apartment. Presumably this was a false alarm but we were convinced that a real fire would have ended badly.

Lawhill Luxury Apartments was ideal for our family (of 6!) holiday to Cape Town - the location, on the Marina at the V&A Waterfront was a perfect location - walking distance to plenty of shops, restaurants & attractions. Right next door to the One & Only Hotel, which was lovely for drinks at night. Our apartment was a 3 bed - so spacious, immaculately clean and with every facility you would need during your stay including a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment was like new and had a lovely wrap around outdoor balcony with outdoor table & chairs and sun loungers. We usually stay in hotels when away on holidays but were extremely pleasantly surprised with what a wonderful stay we had at the Lawhill, daily house keeping and very comfortable beds made it every bit as enjoyable as staying in a hotel just with the benefit of spacious family area to ourselves. Highly recommend this an option for a family holiday to Cape Town or business trip. Staff very helpful too. ** some might find the pool a bit disappointing as it is small and no pool bar or restaurant (not unusual for apartment accompaniment!) but just a heads up if you are a family expecting days by a pool this might not suit - for us, it was perfect as we were sight seeing and out and about. Highly recommend ☺️
