I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Cape Town - Upper Eastside, and I must say it was a delightful experience from start to finish. Knowing that my vehicle was safely parked on the premises provided an added sense of comfort during my stay. The stay was disappointing after being there 9 months ago for Valentine's Day. We had issues with the WiFi and the breakfast delivered to our room was cold the one day and we did not even receive our breakfast on the second morning. The lacklustre apology and non-conpensation also added to the non-satisfactory experience. The room and location are great.

We stayed for 3 nights but the housekeeper didn't seem to clean the room properly. My rubbish such as used coffee cup didn't get cleared. View is terrible as well. I got the largest room but my room faced the KPMG sign. The sign is on 24/7 and we couldn't get a proper sleep.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and serviced daily. Staff were friendly and attended to all our needs. Lovely bar area and YU restaurant was sublime, well worth visiting.

Search for COSPA as Cape Town sightseeing. Great access to Cape Town station. Still, this price is acceptable with breakfast included. Breakfast is from 7:00, but even if you get it early, it's frank and gentle. There is a service that makes omelets (*grilled), yakiniku, crepes, etc. in front of you. You can also get water in the lobby on the 1st floor. Highly recommended!

The hotel is fairly okay...The stuff were partly friendly. The breakfast menu was quite okay but i think they can do better by adding more variety..I did not like the fact that one of the days cups ran out so couldn't take coffee or tea.The rooms are small and cosy but very nice. Overall experience was awful as i had a fall out with one of the staff Members ( Thabiso) and the manager ( Thando ).....I had a parcel that i was expecting from Woolworths that did not come and upon trying to understand what transpired it didn't go well and i don't like the way they treated me as a guest.

The hotel staff is polite and waiters have a priority attitude. Breakfast generally meets business needs and is close to the main traffic. There is a bar on the 10th floor for proper entertainment. The room is clean but the air-conditioning temperature cannot be adjusted

A bit disappointed that there was no daily complimentary water especially for a hotel of this rating and price. When we asked about it, we were told we could buy water at the bar. Baggage storage was good. Check in is too late (after 3:00pm), and check out is before 10:00am (not even close to a 20 hour stay). Not worth the price we paid for these hours. Most global hotels have check out at 12.00pm and you could request a late check out. Our flight was at 8:00pm. Beds too narrow and also the gap between beds and wall / big screen TV is too narrow

I had a great stay at a cost-effective hotel in Cape Town without any inconveniences, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. It's a good hotel.
