I cannot say enough about this place. The rooms are huge, the views are spectacular, but the people are what make this place. You are truly family when you stay here. It started months in advance when I first booked. I reached out to inquire about things to do in the area. For the next few months Arianna, Chiara, Rafaella were lifesavers. They helped me plan multiple activities and answered all my questions. I was already impressed before we arrived at how attentive they had been, but I was blow away at our stay. All the rooms are suites with beautiful views. The food at the hotel is absolutely some of the best we ate in all our time in Italy. The food is so fresh and you feel like they are cooking for their family, I know it sounds cliché but you can taste the love they have for food. The staff in the restaurant are so patient and helpful. The staff set up tours for us and were available on WhatsApp at any time we needed. The breakfast was a lovely spread every day and included in the stay. There were 2 days that we had to be gone early before breakfast for day trips we had booked and they made us breakfast TO GO!!!! And not only did they make us breakfast to go but when we opened the bags there were snacks and drinks and food we could have for lunch. I mean they just go above and beyond at every chance. I would have mover in if I could have. I have never enjoyed a hotel as much as I did here. Highly recommend.

Perfect stay - the quality of the facilities, service and location is excellent. Really enjoyed the pool, the terrace for cocktails and the outdoor area for dinner. Really enjoyed the food and wine too. Delightful and helpful team and the junior suite was gorgeous.

A truly lovely experience. We arrived and were immediately greeted by Chiara and Adriana. Our room was spacious, air conditioning worked and the bathroom was great. The private terrace with the most amazing view only adds to the effect. A full wine list and bar are available and the food is really delicious (thanks Mario!). We could not fault Borgo La Pietraia and in fact came back to stay again a week later. Please do try and fit this place in if you are travelling near Napoli.

We travel extensively and this was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. The setting is enchanting - quiet and peaceful, yet a short drive to Paestum and other attractions. The views are spectacular. On one side you can see to the water, on the opposite side you can see up to the hills. You are surrounded by olive, fig and pomegranate trees. The food is wonderful. And I can not say enough about the family that runs the hotel and the staff. We were treated as guests. Arianna arranged tours for us and answered all of our questions. Truly memorable!

I attended an art retreat over one week based here. Beautiful architect designed property in the hills with gorgeous views of the nearby coast. I felt part of a family. Comfortable, fantastic food and pool on site. Great base for excursions. I loved it.

Everything at the Borgo is designed so thoughtfully and the atmosphere is incredibly beautiful. The. Food. OMG. I am a vegan and the creative dishes adjusted for my diet were unique gourmet delights! The staff are so wonderful, they seem to love their work and are so helpful. Thank you to @feastonhistory for bringing me to this magical place.

Nestled in a hillside with stunning panoramic views of the Cilento Coast is just where the magic starts. Spacious & comfortable accommodations along with delicious food allow for an amazing experience. The Borgo is the perfect place to serve as a home base while you explore this part of Italy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our six-night stay here for a family party and reunion. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The views across the water from our room and the restaurant are incredible - not to mention the sunsets! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The dinners we had here were delicious - using lots of local produce. We highly recommend the hotel.

There's no way to capture the beauty that is Borgo la Pietraia! The rooms are massive w/ gorgeous patios, spacious bathrooms, and all the amenities. The grounds are immaculate, and the pool is perfect for cooling down in the afternoons. The staff will feel like family before you leave. They treated us better than we deserve. We had a lot of requests because we were traveling with two families with different allergies & schedules & needs, but the staff went out of their way to accommodate! Breakfast was an incredible spread of healthy options. We also ate at the restaurant several times for both lunch & dinner. The chef was SO kind to accommodate our allergies....they went above and beyond. There wasn't a single meal we didn't love! This place is more than a gorgeous place to lay your head at night... it's an experience that will get you addicted to true Italian culture. Recommendations: I'd highly suggest you stay here if you are headed to Amalfi, as this is significantly less money, but much more peaceful. You can easily do a day trip into Amalfi to see it, but then come back here at night. Even better, visit the buffalo mozzarella farm, grab a pizza in Paestum, check out the views in Agropoli, and wander the village behind Castello dell'Abate. You won't regret it.
