Overall: This was the best accommodation in our entire two-week honeymoon to southern Italy. We couldn't have enjoyed it more. Family members Enzo, Anna, Federica, Luca and the rest of the staff were so kind and friendly. They did their best in English and were really helpful with our growing Italian skills. I was honoured to be introduced to 95-year-old grandfather Antonio when the family was having lunch. My wife and I want to learn more Italian and go back as soon as we can! If you are in the area, you should definitely stay there! If you aren't in the area, get there! I feel I am leaving out so much in this review but it is already so long. Can't say enough positive things about it. Room: Simple and cosy. It was perfectly spacious for the two of us and the shower had a regular nozzle, a rain shower and a third spout for variety. Food: They laid on an amazing spread for Easter with different cheeses (including mozzarella from their own herd of buffala), wine, vegetables, goat meat and more. Their kitchen wasn't open the second night we were there but they very kindly cooked us up some pasta and artichokes. Breakfast was fantastic with breads, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, coffee and homemade jam and pastries. Drink: Their wine and limoncello were both delicious and we actually bought a bottle of limoncello to take home. We are torn between drinking it right away and leaving it for the most special occasions so it lasts longer. Location: The tiniest bit inconvenient to get to without your own car (which we didn't have) but taxis and being young and fit enough to walk to the ruins of Paestum made it okay. The views over their olive grove and vineyards of the sun setting into the Gulf of Naples was better than anything we could have asked for. The pool was closed when we were there but it would be fantastic to have on a hot summer's day.
