Hotel Rubino Deluxe

My partner and I were extremely impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at Hotel Rubinho. Alex on reception was particularly helpful as we're all of the restaurant staff. We enjoyed the breakfasts, with plenty of options available, and all of the evening meals. Having larger and smaller portion size options for the evening meal for both starter and main course was a good idea. The bedroom was a decent size, very clean with a ensuite which had a bath, shower and separate loo. The view from the balcony was stunning. The room was a bit hot at first but Alex advised us on how to reduce the heating. The room had a fridge which was useful too. We made daily use of the Spa facilities which we paid for but felt it was good value. One tip- be careful on the small road leading to the hotel as this was very icy. We hope to return to Hotel Rubinho next year.

Great hotel and amazing staff. All of them were incredibly helpful and friendly. Breakfast had good variety and coffee was plentiful and good quality, evening meal was also good quality and lots of it, just what you want if you are skiing. Spa is spacious and very clean.

Food was so random, manager with the coloured suit jackets was abrupt and rude he actually removed plates from our table that we were still eating, he also removed 2x uneaten steaks and never questioned why, we ordered well done and these were served raw, nobody around to complain, food was not replenished in a timely manner as part of the buffet, restrictions on fruit, which could only be after 8pm as desert and not a starter, desert not available until 8pm. Reception guy and barman were great. Room was not a family room, clean enough, lack of heaters to dry clothes Good location maybe this explains why there is a lack of customer care and service. Also travelled with Crystal and the rep was non existent, they can't do in person and their app for the phone is rubbish aswell

I had a reservation at the Hotel Dolomiti and when arrived there they have toold us that the hotel had changed our reservation into the Rubino Deluxe hotel 8 minutes far away from the vilage we wanted to stay, Canazei. Once arrived to the Rubino the room was at 20 Cº and the hadn't the heatting on. When we asked to have it at 30th of September they told us that the heating was not on for anyone and that they won't turn it on... they gave us a small heater that had 2 wheels broken. Honestly nothing that you expect from a 4 start hotel "deluxe"....

Review: three families (party of 14) travelling with Crystal ski in Feb 22 General: well maintained, venerable property, attentive staff, handled large group well, overall a lovely experience. Location: one of the closest properties to the Col Rodella cable car, with access to variety of good red runs. Hotel: great traditional building, mature decor and furnishings, kept impeccably clean by proud staff. Bordering on a bit ‘funky’ compared to more modern hotels - but see points below about service. Service: attentive team with good english led by friendly manager. Some great personal touches during the stay won us over, any downsides offset by dedication of manager and his team to ensure we had a good trip. Check-in: bit chaotic with room allocation changes ‘on the fly’ and reception team kept passports without explanation of why / when to be returned. Rooms: large and clean with functional furniture and traditional bathrooms, good strong shower and apparently limitless hot water - good strong heating for winter trip. Cleaned and tidied thoroughly daily. Downside: rooms aren’t particularly sound proof - there was a singer in the bar one night playing until 22:45 - no child could sleep on first floor until this stopped. Not good for family guests with kids with early start for ski lessons. Breakfast: continental style breakfast with lots of good quality options. Would have liked fruit platters rather than prepared fruit salad - but that’s being picky. Breakfast provisions ran out on last morning half way through sitting when we had a slightly later start. No option for staff to replenish. Dinner: for half board guests was interesting. Adults enjoyed some great traditional local plates, pasta course in particular was excellent - most second course meat plates also good, a couple of misses but generally very tasty. Kids didn’t enjoy all of the local food offerings, as quite rich and better for parents, but the staff were very happy to make great spaghetti bolognese and pizza to keep their palettes content. Wine selection good and well priced, we had help from manager to choose some enjoyable local wines. On a couple of nights the hotel cellar didn’t have a particular bottle and manager arranged for a runner to grab from a nearby sister hotel. Nice touch. Manager provided some lovely Moscato desert wine and schnapps for us to try as a parting treat. Nice touch. Manager appeared on our final day with packed lunches for journey to airport. Nice touch. Downside: only water available for the tables at dinner was bottled mineral water that was charged for on the bill, the local tap water was excellent and would have preferred to have a jug rather than being charged extra. Bar area: great beer on draft for end of ski day pints - bar area lacking the ‘apres ski’ vibe, but big comfy sofas for a relaxing drink. We really liked staying in this hotel.the staff were all so nice and really attentive ,taking there job so seriously. Out of the ordinary! We felt so welcome. The rooms were so clean every day.and special thanks to the manager Fabrizio Minnucci. I recommend staying here !

Today I left this very good hotel , we have been in 2 prestige room (very nice) , but the staff make the place especially the director as know as EL SERGENTE for his attitude. Incredible view outside with the park close to the hotel . Furthermore the restaurant was really good , nice and large typical mountain meal This place deserve a visit

A nice quaint hotel with all the amenities you need. Bedroom was big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids, with 2 single beds and a sofa bunk bed. Plenty of hot water in the large bathroom. Really good sized balcony. Had a tv, safe and fridge also. We liked it as it was a 300m walk to the Col Rodella ski lift that gives you access to the huge Val Di Fassa ski area. The staff were friendly and professional. The beer was the same price as you pay in town. The food was plentiful, tasty and local recipes. Would definitely stay there is we went back. Booked through Crystal ski.
