Locanda Fontelupa

We had a lovely stay at Locanda Fontelupa. The property is beautiful and so special! It is a bit remote and very private, which is what we were looking for. The pool was not open yet due to local regulations, but Giuska and her team were incredibly hospitable, offering local recommendations and other suggestions. The chef and Giuska hosted us for a cooking class and a dinner for all of the guests one evening, which was a lot of fun. The cabin we stayed in was super cozy, very well-maintained and had a beautiful, private patio and garden with sun chairs and a hammock, which we loved. This is a true B&B, where lunch and dinner not served on Saturdays or Sundays, which is something to consider in your planning. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Locanda Fontelupa!

It's been a surprising experience in Southern Tuscany (Maremma). Locanda Fontelupa is such a relaxing, charming, place. We found a very big room with a huge bed and the most comfortable mattress we ever slept on. The rooms are quiet and all the windows overlook nature. It was so nice to see the horses walking free in the meadows right in front of the house. The furnishing in the rooms and in common areas is exotic, elegant but cozy. Don't miss the "winter garden", a large room set in the garden surrounded by big windows where you can read or have a drink. A rich and delicious breakfast is provided. Staff is qualified and incredibly kind.

Look no further. Locanda Fontelupa is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever been too. Our suite was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The spacious winter garden was the perfect place to read, unwind and relax. The hotel is situated in splendid seclusion on a hill with a breathtaking view the best way which you can enjoy next to the large pool on top of the compound. The hotel is close to the sea (approx. 30 Mins by car) and many picturesque attractions of Tuscany. The breakfast, lunch and dinner offered a delicious variety of local organic Tuscany food and were served outside in the romantic yard. Otherwise, there are many great restaurants and agriturismo in close proximity of the hotel. Giuska and her family made us feel welcome from the first minute. Excellent hospitality! The whole team was very family friendly and also welcoming to our little daughter. Rosie and her husband deserve a big thank you for their excellent service as well! We hope to visit Locanda Fontelupa in the future again.

Wir haben drei wunderbare Nächte im Fontelupa verbracht, und zwar im etwas abgesetzten kleinen Einzelhaus - Idylle und Ruhe pur! Die Eigentümerin Giuska war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat uns zahlreiche Tipps für Aktivitäten und Restaurants gegeben. Wir haben nur an einem Abend im Fontelupa gegessen und diesen sehr genossen und auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr fein mit einer schönen Auswahl an Süssem und Salzigem.

Vi älskade Locanda Fontelupa! Värdarna var otroligt tillmötesgående och hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde hjälp med. Gården är omskött, vacker och väldigt gemytlig - allt man kan drömma om i ett boende. Mysiga rum och god frukost! Vi vill definitivt komma tillbaka och stanna längre än en natt. Tack!
