DUDİ Konak Hotel

What a beautiful place this is. There is so much character to it with its stone structure perched on a hill. The clouds seem to float into your room as you open the windows in the mornings. The view of the valley from the room makes the long drive up worthwhile. The staff has limited ability to converse in any language other than Turkish but this does not limit their enthusiasm to please. They are adept at using Google Translate. The only limitation is you need a car to reach the place.

The place is ok. BUT they hide information. The way to the hotel is so bad and so dangerous that young or old can't reach the hotel. I was to scared to do the route. We told that out car really was to bad for reaching the hotel and the route was too dangerous. They do noynt understand the situation. They said us there were a lot of persons who were scared and do not want to stay anymore and they never gave the money back. Easy earned, my opinion.We lost 500 euro's and go too another hotel Didi Butik hotel. They were so friendly and give us a very big discount. DON'T EVER GO TO DUDI KONAK. They don't treat you fair. Unfair people over there.

Dudi Konak is a recently renovated brand new hotel established in a more than a hundred years old mansion, built a century ago by a local family. The house has been entirely rebuilt strictly reserving the original architectural design. The Hotel has been in service for a year. We have spent two wonderful days here. I would say the best hotel in Camlihemsin area, in particular, if you want to stay away from the mainstream tourism and annoying amount of masses of people wondering around. All staff, in particular Tolga, were very friendly and helped us a lot in choosing the places to go. Very highly recommended.

Great atmosphere that you feel above clouds!

Hidden gem in the clouds :) It is quite a zig zag drive up the mountain, so if you are attempting the drive, make sure to have an SUV- otherwise cab it up. My room view was quite possibly the best view of any hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff were more like a big family, so you get an AirBnB vibe here. The food was incredibly delicious and fresh and the menu was quite extensive and international. The saucy chicken wrap was out of this world delicious. Thanks to Seyma for arranging my tour to Huser plateau and giving me advice regarding going up. Special thanks to Tolga for actually accompanying me to Huser plateau to ease my anxiety of going up such an altitude! He was my superhero! He also was the one to assist me upon my initial drive up the mountain- guiding me on how and when to make turns etc, and was the one to actually drive me down the mountain upon check-out. I hope to revisit with family in the future. One downside was that there was no air conditioner in the rooms, and having to leave the windows open in the summer permits insects and bees to enter. But if one keeps the windows closed, then no problem at all except it gets really warm in the summer. Overall, I still highly recommend staying here as it is a hidden gem in the clouds with lovely staff and you do not want to miss this when visiting the Black Sea region!

Muhteşem Lokasyon. Çok güzel restore edilmis 1860’lardan kalma Ermeni konağı. Servis hizmet ilgi, alaka çok güzel. Güleryüzlü calisan. Muhteşem vadi manzarası. Kahvaltı çeşitliliği, yemek menüleri çok güzel. Tekrar gideceğiz.
