Arrived at Cambrils family resort as part of the Barcelona Halloween football tournament. Will review two parts separately. CAMBRILS Villa they look great on the outside, bright and vibrant huts. Inside very basic and could do with a good clean. They provide hairdryer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster and hob (No oven, be aware of this before buying oven food from shop lol), fridge freezer. Towels are replaced every 3 days. Unbeknown to us due to it being off season most swimming pools had been emptied and the others contaminated by the storm. Meaning no swimming pools had been opened the whole time. Which was strange as we had been to a hotel the night before who cleaned and opened the pool within a day of the storm. Again due to it being off season they provided no family entertainment at anytime. The mini golf only opened at night time and cost €4pp. The trampolines were closed and randomly opened at a cost of €3pp. The indoor pool has to be booked in advance and was booked out for big groups already meaning we couldn’t book. We had been told it would have cost us €9pp to use. Tennis again closed due to the net being broken . Football and basketball courts good, however due to the lack of other facilities was a total free for all rabble of around 40/50 kids all competing, fighting and arguing. The resort appeared to be facilitating lots of different sports groups of all ages. Meal times - Think school canteens and you won’t be far away. You get a bottle of water at the table with paper cups and can use the coffee machine. Ur given time slots of 45mins for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our time slots were 9:00, 13:00, 21:00. No other food facilities were open apart from waffle bar at night time. Meaning if you wanted a snack you needed to buy from the shop and make in Villa or apartments or go outside resort, a good 20 mins walk. The food was roughly the same for lunch and dinners and nothing came out hot. Bar - only one bar open with one staff serving at all times. Not a great selection of drinks, the guys appeared happy with the beer selection. However, over all bar was cheap and some bought from shop and drank the carry out at tables. Football Monday - check in 16:00 , Dinner 20:00 Tuesday- breakfast 9:00. Everyone was then walked a good 20 mins walk to the astros 10:30-12:00 for 11aside friendly game of football. Then walked back 20 mins for lunch at 13:00. Group stages 18:00- 20:00. After complaints to the organisers they got us a bus to and from astro as agreed as part of the package. Some of our party struggled walking this distance. The festival had so much potential unfortunately there was only two teams a Scottish team and an Irish team with 21 kids each who were u12 making 6 teams in total. The other two teams were u10 Spanish teams. Obviously the size difference and physicality was visible for all to see and clearly unfair. The Spanish kids didn’t come back the next day for the finals and award ceremony.

Utter disappointed. On paper place looks fantastic, unfortunately this is not the case and has been an expensive waste of time. Sadly the weather did affect the closure of swimming pools , the day they were going to reopen never happened and date was constantly changed by staff, there was no staff near the pools cleaning them or trying to reopen them, I doubt the intention was there at all, then to be offered the use of the indoor pool at €9 per head it absolutely ludicrous. Food hall is disgusting very rushed, disgusting food leading to a lot of the families being sick and unwell. Zero facilities open for children, trampolines closed, courts closed golf closed, baring in mind there was around 300 children and families there with zero entertainment provided. Utter disappointed, and ruined what should have been a fantastic experience for these kids and families. Would not recommend and will most certainly not be returning.

Worst place I have ever stayed. Tin roof so with all the rain we didn’t get any sleep for 3 nights., it was cold, beds small and uncomfortable, the shower flooded our room, the room smelt of sewer to the point we could not use the toilet and felt sick. The food!!! Same every day, things not cooked and freezing cold, there was no order to food hall and you got kicked out very quickly so no time to enjoy your food ( if it was nice and safe to eat). Only one pool open but after the storm the water was black, we used the spa pool and was only in it for 15mins due to it closing and we were still charged full price of €10 each. We did come for the football tournament unfortunately you can’t do anything about the weather but accommodation and food should have a certain standard of which this place did not, no entrainment was put of for the children either. Best thing about this weekend was the last night when we decided not to eat on site and go out!

What can a say about this place it has been the worst experience we have had 🤬🤬 We are here just know with the football family for a football tournament which has been a horrible experience there is no pools open for the kids , trampolines shut due to be broken , they have no contingency plan in place to entertain the kids and families that have payed a lot of money to come here The staff that are here is very rude and when we have asked to speak to management about our experiance we are told they have all went home for the season leaving minimum staff to cover the park needs Also we have 6 kids with sickness bug due to the hygiene of the food halls All in all a disgusting experience for our football team and family we will definitely be letting everyone no what this place is like

Our first time … & the start of many planned trips to Cambrils! What a fantastic experience. We were travelling as myself, my husband, our 2 children, sister in law & a great family friend. Our Apartment, Med 3 was absolutely perfect for our needs & spotlessly clean. The beds were comfy & having 3 en-suite bathrooms was fabulous. Our children are massive fans of The Forum restaurant, the food is perfect for them & it’s the staff that make it so special! We were treated like 5* guests every night & my little boy, Hector, turned 6 when we stayed and the staff of The Forum sang to him, brought him cake, made him feel like a superstar! Added to this a trip on stage to see ‘Parky’ and get a birthday certificate 😊 The entertainment is also fantastic & the energy and spirit of that team is 5*. Joseph should be on strictly come dancing or dancing with the stars- his precision & energy shines through! Evan & his buggy get another thumbs up from our children, he was so lovely to them. They loved zooming to and from reception 2 , to drop off & collect our luggage. So many other staff who I don’t know names of but each & every one of them is exceptional . Thank you to the Bakery for a beautiful birthday cake & to the housekeeping staff who work so hard every day. Booking for next year … Would give 10 stars if I could!

Very good resort, well maintenced and kept clean throughout the whole resort. Only downside is the food, as the resort is not close to many restaurants with a young family it was easier to eat here however the food was not great in the main restaurant. Very basic and just thrown out some nights. The entertainment in the evening is great although parents are so stressed out as the shows take place right by the pool. No kids jumped in but all were so close and could of easily fell in accidentally while dancing. It would cost very little to put a guard around the pool when the shows are in which was allow parents to relax and also enjoy the show instead of running after their kids afraid in case they fall in.
