Outstanding!! I cannot say enough about this special place. The view from our balcony was nothing short of breath taking, but what really makes it is the friendly staff. From what we understand, this is a family run hotel and smiles and recommendations were generously offered. I felt like they could not quite believe their own good fortune to live in such a stunning place and they were eager to share. I highly recommend the hike to the Lighthouse, just bring water and wear good shoes (the kind receptionist also made sure we were wearing sunscreen and made of point of stopping her car to see if we had a good time when she saw us returning). Large, clean rooms, comfy beds, amazing location. We hope to return.

An absolute gem, one of the best hotels in my entire life, and I travel a great deal. Terrific location, just above the port restaurants and bars, but uphill enough to be quiet. Well decorated and spacious rooms and common areas. Incredibly gracious staff. And – I must admit – we had the top floor suite with stunning 270° views of the bay from our balcony. But even without that treat, I “pound the table“ to recommend this hotel.

A hidden gem in Calvi. Lovely, very clean and well appointed room with beautiful ocean views from our balcony. Great location, walked everywhere. The staff was extremely helpful in restaurant and sight seeing advice. Hope to return soon.

Nice hotel and in a good location with friendly staff, particularly Camille. Lots of offers of help with restaurants etc which was really kind. Not sure it’s a true 4* but it is good. The beach nearby is a bonus although it’s not at all special by Corsican standards. Pool is attractive to look at but can’t imagine using it as it’s kind of in the breakfast area…

Loved this hotel! It was beautifully presented, with quality bedding, a beautiful pool, bar, and everything else you could need. Gorgeous views from the balcony. Location was very close to main attractions but still in a quiet area. Parking underground was free and easy. The staff were so friendly - we would love to return!

We just spent a spectacular week at Maria-Die and cannot say enough about how delightful our experience was. The hotel is, as other reviewers have noted, new and in great condition, and just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the port. The location is also quiet, which is a must for us, and the guests were all very respectful and low-key as well. Breakfast is very good, with many options. The best part of all, however, was the staff: This is a small hotel. Camille, Andre, Melodie and Ariana all work different shifts throughout the day and are extremely friendly and helpful. Anything we asked, they had answers or knew how to find them. They recommended restaurants, beaches, laundry services, and things to do. They were always eager to chat with us and made us feel very much at home. We had rooms overlooking the sea, and we spent every evening watching the sunset. All in all, a terrific and unforgettable time for us. Thank you, Maria-Die!

Si le muguet porte bonheur au mois de mai, le Maria die est la touche finale. Deuxième visite dans cet hôtel, le personnel de l'hôtel est au petit soin . De notre arrivée jusqu'aux conseils pour les différents restaurants de calvi . Les chambres sont propres,les petits déjeuners sont préparés avec soin,la piscine chauffée apporte son plus en ce printemps. Une fois votre véhicule stationné vous pouvez tout faire à pied en ville. Nous vous recommandons cet établissement les yeux fermés.

De passage à Calvi, nous avons découvert ce magnifique hôtel familial avec un superbe emplacement, nous avons pu faire tout à pied. L’hôtel est neuf, très jolie et d’une propreté remarquable. Le personnel est super sympa, à l’écoute et très serviable avec des bons conseils! J’y reviendrai avec plaisir. Encore merci pour tout.

Nous venons de quitter cet établissement dans lequel nous avons passé 2 nuits non consécutives et tenons à partager notre expérience: L’ hôtel Maria Die est absolument charmant, nous avons bénéficié d’un accueil et d’un service remarquable. Une propreté impeccable, un mobilier de qualité et une décoration qui vaut le coup d’œil. La literie est très confortable et les prestations sont largement à la hauteur de leurs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. De plus, vous aurez sûrement la chance de rencontrer le personnel et de vous rendre compte qu’il s’agit d’une affaire familiale qui vous donnera également de très bonnes adresses pour vous restaurer sur la ville. Merci aux gérants pour leurs attentions et leur professionnalisme impeccables. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter!
