Albatros Apartments by Malibu

WOW!! What can we say about this little hidden Gem! We have just arrived back from 2 amazing weeks here! we were blown away by the apartment, the space, amenities and how clean everything is! we arrived late at night, (25 Minutes from Tenerife south airport), no issues at all, we received a message off TUI stating our room number and key code for our apartment when we checked in at Birmingham airport. We arrived to a bottle of white wine and a bottle of water in the fridge ready chilled (Such a premium touch). we had a Seaview room (apartment 205) Apartments 201 - 206 are sea views upon the second floor which has a better scope of the area, which was incredible, the balcony was huge compared to previous apartments we've stayed in Tenerife, 4 Plastic chairs and table and 2 SUPER comfy wicker chairs with cushions and table, not cramped at all. The beds were very comfortable which is unusual for Spanish beds haha! memory foam beds are a huge PLUS ! super fluffy pillows, a fan above the bed which is amazingly powerful. The rooms were cleaned alternate days, the cleaners and groundsmen worked so hard, everywhere was spotless, the pool was cleaned daily before towels could be put out on sun loungers, plenty of sun loungers, those that didn't want to be around the pool could use the sun terrace. which is huge (above apartments 201 - 206. We have two young children who loved the pool, Not a huge pool but very ample for the amount of guests staying here, the local area has a shop over the road (Hyperdino) and shop next to hotel you could use,you get a discount code for that also. Both are very well stocked with pretty much everything you should need. There are plenty of choices of restaurants, we didn't have a bad meal! We highly recommend the Nebula restaurant which is up the hill, the Masala curry house (over the road) , and La Osteria which is down the hill situated a short 10 minute walk from the apartment to the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed, even a coffee machine which takes dolce gusto pods or equivalent, even salt was provided in the cupboard above the extractor hood and washing liquid! there is also a laundry on site if you need to wash/dry any clothes / towels etc we hired a car from up the road from POULS AUTO, 185 euros for a Toyota Aygo for 7 days which was about 1/2 the price of any other hire car company we looked at before we left. we love to explore the Island, absolutely love this peaceful beautifully kept slice of Tenerife , you are about 10 or so minutes from Costa Adeje, we have previously been to Tenerife 3 times and stayed in other areas, this is by far our favourite location! such a clean safe area and everything you could possibly need. If you need a supermarket there is a Lidls a 10 minute drive away, Each room has ceiling fans that are superb, we have never had such powerful fans before in Tenerife and found these a godsend! Lovely apartments, quiet location yet multiple restaurants. Beautiful views of the sea, spacious clean apartment with lots of amenities. Martin and all staff were very helpful and friendly, allowed us to use pool and provided towels after checkout which was lovely. Would definitely visit again.

5 Stars – A Fantastic Stay! We had a wonderful experience at Albatros Apartments by Malibu. The apartments were absolutely lovely – spotlessly clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed, right down to the little touches like washing-up liquid. The communal areas and pool were also impeccably maintained and very inviting. A special mention to Martin, who was extremely helpful throughout our stay. One example of the thoughtful service: after we did some washing, the cleaners noticed we had limited space to hang clothes and kindly left us an airer without us even asking – such a considerate gesture. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. A beautiful, relaxing spot with fantastic service. We’ll definitely be back!
