Castillo Playa

Just returned from a great week here at these great little bungalows ! From the outset, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely staff here . We arrived early in the day , so we fully expected to have to wait to check in. We were invited to wait in the bar area overlooking the pool. After a short while , we were told our room was ready. As we had asked for , our bungalow was certainly in a sunny situation ! Yes, they are not the most modern bungalows, but they are spotlessly clean , very well equipped, have great showers , very comfy beds , clean towels almost every other day , a big fridge , plenty of glasses , pots and pans for preparing a light meal ! Wifi was excellent, the pool was very clean and inviting ( a tad chilly maybe ! ) All the staff we met , from the reception, bar staff and the cleaning ladies , were all so friendly ! The bungalows are in a great position, close to all the bars & restaurants , supermarkets and of course the sea front ! We really enjoyed our stay here , they offer fantastic value for money ! Its 15 mins by cab from the airport , 17 euros , so its all easy ! We would definitely return here !

20th time I've stayed here. Brilliant apartments as always, 100% the best place to stay in Caleta. All 10 of us, Golf Trip lads didn't have one complaint. Big thankyou to Lynn & Tracey in the pool bar for keeping us fed & watered. Can't wait to return

Stayed here in July with my partner. Loved the bungalows, they have everything you need for a self catering holiday, although we didn't cook during our stay as there are lots of places to eat nearby. Beds were comfortable, wifi works well and the sun loungers on the terrace are great, not the most comfortable but you can buy cushion pads from the China shop (people sometimes pass them on to other guests when they leave). The staff and other guests are friendly, we honestly felt so chilled out here that we have already booked to come back next July. The on site cafe bar was great, we ate breakfast there several times, the ladies that run it are fab. When we arrived it was around 11pm as we had been delayed 2 and a half hours and there was a complimentary bottle of water and a bottle of red wine in the bungalow waiting for us, much appreciated. Kitchen is equipped with washing up cloth, liquid and tea towel etc. Towels changed regularly and bungalows although could use an update are scrupulously clean.

Can’t actually fault it - the staff are amazing and the place is spotless and has everything you need. Pool is lovely and just everything about it is great. Only thing missing is a washer if you are staying a long time you need this but if only for couple of weeks then it’s fine. My very tiny gripe is that the shower leaks all over the floor - just needs a door on the showers to save mess and wasting towels on drying the floor

Had 2 fabulous weeks here just me and my husband loved every minute, we hired a mobility scooter for my husband and so easy for him to get around and could charge it directly at the bungalow. The ladies in the bar and the chefs did a great job and the food was excellent especially the Sunday roast highly recommend. Position of these bungalows are brilliant and I would definitely visit again. Could have done with parasol on the terrace as it was sheltered from the wind and it got iextremely hot but I would return here in a heartbeat.
