Horrible place to have your wedding here. Beware sinister experience, not worth the stress for a mediocre view. They charged 20% gratuity on everything. There is nothing luxurious about this place nor is it a resort by any means. Avoid the hassle and enjoy your wedding somewhere else

This is for, The Vista Restaurant in the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing! We both had the beef tenderloin with potato pave and root vegetables. It was delicious! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely go back to the restaurant!

WOW! This place really is a hidden gem with so much character. My husband and I were celebrating a new milestone and we came to the resort for some lunch. I must say THANK YOU to Scott who looked after us so well. Two signature cocktails and a charcuterie later and I can guarantee that we I will return. The pomegranate elderflower prosecco was recommended and I have not stopped talking about it to all of my friends and family. Any staff that I came into contact with were beyond helpful and it really does feel like a home away from home. We will be back- thanks again Scott and all at the Mount Alverno Luxury Resorts; this place is a slice of heaven!

I love how secluded the property was giving that getaway feel. Its small but intimate, the staff are ALWAYS smiling, courteous and attentive. Kristen, at front desk is just the sweetest, I even received a call this morning to ensure I had breakfast which was greatly appreciated. Angelique, at their restaurant was phenomenal with her suggestions and just the perfect hostess. She checked in just enough and made me feel as though I was the only one there. The restaurant in the dining area is gorgeous and the live band was the perfect touch! One of the staff the night before whom I wish I got his name (a tall handsome man) brought me out some blankets last night to keep me warm while I was out there like how cute. Lastly, Nigel the Director of Operations responded promptly to a concern I had with my room specifically a crack in the window and was extremely generous with his compensation in taking accountability for the matter. The room with the exception of the one issue was beautiful, tastefully decorated and had just the right amount of class and elegance (giving that Homesense feel). The grounds both inside and out are breathtaking. I can't wait to return and take advantage of the views and beautiful patio. It was freezing the night of my stay and raining the next morning so I definitely need a redo I will return in a couple of weeks when the weather is much warmer. My only recommendation is to have more tower heaters throughout the patio that are on at night and during the day if need should guest opt to be on the patio but want to be comfortable during the day and night. Other than that it was EXACTLY what I needed and perfect! If you're looking to disconnect, and enjoy nature look no further. There is no pool or spa just nature, elegance, the luxurious feel and great staff! Thank you Mount Alverno❤️

We had a wonderful stay at the Mount Alverno Resort. The hotel is clean, spacious and very polished. The staff are courteous. Their breakfast is delicious. Definitely will come back. The bathtub was very relaxing. The TV entertainment system is a little complicated. I would suggest that some instructions (we could not find) be added in the room and all staff be trained to operate the buttons should a guest have questions.

If you love nature and a peaceful environment this is the place. I really LOVE the room I stayed in. The bed was very comfy. The food is Canadian cuisine with a French twist. My favorite was the lamb chops.
