When I tried to take a shower, as I attempted to close a sliding glass shower door, the tempered glass cracked entirely and began to collapse in my hand. I knew that if I let go of it, it would collapse and shatter into hundreds of pieces of sharp glass. I called my wife for help. She attempted to contact the reception desk four times without success. No one ever answered. The broken box door continued to crack and sway back and forth, while I attempted to hold it steady so it would not collapse. My wife went down to the front desk - no one was there - so ran to a man who was working with valet parking to ask for help. She explained the problem and was told someone would be sent up. By the time my wife returned, by herself, the glass door had completely collapsed and cut my legs and feet in multiple places. I was bleeding but could not move because the floor was covered with broken glass and any step would have caused more cuts on the soles of my feet. Being a surgeon, I was fully aware that continuing in a standing position would increase the bleeding due to gravitational gradients in the leg veins, but I had no other option until my wife arrived and covered the floor with folded towels allowing me to step out. Only after all of this someone from the hotel’s maintenance staff finally appeared and he informed us that this was not the first time a glass shower door had shattered in this hotel. Ten or so minutes later the front desk finally called up to our room and my wife asked the hotel to send someone immediately with a first aid kit to attend to the cuts on my legs. Another 10 minutes later a lifeguard from the hotel’s swimming pool knocked on the door with an antiquated first aid kit that did not contain iodine, alcohol or bandaids. The lifeguard offered to wash the bleeding wounds with suntan lotion. At this point I was compelled to explain that I am a surgeon and would not allow my wounds to be managed by such an incompetent person. Eventually someone else from the hotel sent out to a pharmacy to get the needed supplies. We repeatedly asked to speak to the hotel manager but he never showed up. Furthermore, no one at the hotel would give us his name, despite many requests. It is very clear that no one who came to attend to the situation had the minimal training in service standards or emergency strategies to respond to situations like this. At no point did anyone in the hotel staff have the courtesy to apologize for the incident. On the contrary, to a person, everyone repeated that I was lucky and should be happy that my injuries were not worse. This makes me suspect that previous times shower doors have shattered at this hotel, more severe injuries to guests occurred. Clearly there has been no maintenance in the bathrooms. When we selected a hotel to stay in Caldas Novas, to visit family, we selected the Best Western Le Jardin based on reviews both online and word of mouth that this is the best hotel in the city.

A tia Nubia MARAVILHOSAAAA e tadas as animadoras sao super animada deixamdo o dia bem mais gostoso e feliz. O hotel muito bom, a piscina quentinha, showzinho de tarde e atividades tanto pra adultos como para crianças de manhã. Tudo muito bom!! Voltaremos com certeza!

Venho, por meio desta, expressar minha insatisfação com o jantar de Ano Novo oferecido no restaurante do hotel no dia 31/12/2024. O que deveria ter sido uma noite agradável para mim e minha família transformou-se em uma experiência profundamente decepcionante e frustrante. Durante toda nossa permanência no restaurante, a reposição dos alimentos foi extremamente inadequada, especialmente do contra filé, que esteve indisponível praticamente todo o tempo. Eu e minha esposa não conseguimos sequer jantar adequadamente, e minha filha acabou dormindo à espera de uma reposição que nunca ocorreu. Considerando o valor cobrado de R$ 190,00 por pessoa, o serviço prestado foi absolutamente insatisfatório e não condizente com a expectativa de um hotel .
