Positives---- The view was amazing absolutely beautiful, a short Taxi drive in to Pollensa, rooms are clean , comfortable beds but very basic, we had a fridge in the room, breakfast had good choice. Now for the rest We were the only British people and were pretty much ignored, the breakfast was lovely but the rest of the food wasn't great couldn't tell you what most of it was , all inclusive drinks were awful we ended up paying for jugs of cocktails, we were only there 2 nights 3 days ( a carers break) the food was that bad the 1st night we went Puerto de Pollensa on the second and ate out we had some amazing cocktails in the square that were half the price the hotel charged and so much nicer, I wouldn't return here ,the only thing it has going for it is the spectacular view

Just returned from 10 days at Simar hotel. The hotel is classed as a 3 star and this is what you get. The hotel is very clean, rooms specious, towels changed every day and beds changed every other day. On the down side, we arrived I the early hours, greeted by “we have been waiting for you” not our fault the flight was delayed, checked in and told our room was No 1, although 2 men on reception no on offered to help with our cases. The bed was a pull out bed settee, so you had the arms of the settee going down the side of the bed (see photo)making it difficult to get in and out of bed. The hotel is split into 2 buildings, the restaurant being in the other block to what out room was in, so you had to cross the road to reach the restaurant, this is not made clear in the hotel details. The food was just about ok, best night was the when they did a BBQ. there was a comfortable bar below the restaurant but this was never open so there was nowhere comfortable to sit in the evening, there was a disco bar or by the pool area but nowhere else. There are plenty of sun beds around the pool area near the bar

OK so it's cheap and cheerful, very clean room and cleaned every day! Pool area is great with a pool bar ( pool is very cold) . All inclusive except your top shelf spirits are separate. Food is good but the burgers and hot dogs from the pool bar are amazing! There's entertainment throughout the day for kids with the entertainment team. Great walks around the surrounding area and views of the mountains and sea are breathtaking. Overall was great holiday. If your looking for luxury though, this hotel is not for you!
