Protur Floriana Resort

Couldnt fault this hotel for comfort,food,friendliness of staff and cleanliness .Weve booked to come back again next year. Short stroll from a beautiful beach,Cala Bona for swimming,snorkelling or cala Millor beach. Our beds were fine,not hard. Stayed in 2 bed apt.[all 2 beds r ground floor]...block K.with our 3 kids.we had enough space for all 5 of us. Parents stayed in Block A. Entertainment was great imo. Was glad it fimished at 11pm as we have small kids and were in bed by 10.Always something different. The only issue i had was noise at night of some other guests...kids crying at 2am,water pipes v loud and sound of cockrels at 6am but that didnt bother me much but not hotels fault just not v well insulated building. Tips: if self catering make sure leave keycard in otherwise fridge will be turned off.

We had a pleasant week here mid October, we have stayed a few times before. The staff are great, it was actually nice and fairly peaceful this time. The apartments are spacious but dated, the fridge leaked and definitely needs replacing, limited cooking facilities only 2 hot plates again very dated. We didn’t pay much for the holiday so you can’t really complain, nice location easy to get to Cala Bona. We have stayed in the Protur hotels and apartments many times. We were unfortunate this time to have a chambermaid who did the bare minimum she never cleaned the floors, we stopped using her, on her day off the other lady cleaned everything and had a mop and bucket. On our last day the original woman met us coming out of the lift and said it is your last day tomorrow so no clean, I think she was making us aware in case we wanted to tip. We always tip the hotel staff and chambermaids but not this time.

I don’t normally write reviews but thought this experience needed one. I am writing this from the point of view of a single mum of a neurodivergent child who is well travelled but not used to all inclusive. I was very dubious as to what we would expect and on arrival , met with another traveler complaining that the restaurant had shut for lunch at 2.30pm ( if you read the info, you are informed of this) We where greeted by the friendliest receptionist we have ever met who put us in a buggy to get to our room. We stayed in block F. Which I might add was perfect on the balcony for the last of the sun. Each block has its own pool and I believe bar! The staff where amazing after a long summer and still had smiles on there faces. Food was good for AI- always a variety. Catered for all diets and if nothing suitable would try and help. Drinks- was a bit disappointing that cocktails where not included but the experience made up for it. ( they do have some) Help yourself, soft drinks, wine, beer and ice cream. Entertainment: there is a kids club everyday that we didn’t use. Activities on the stage all day. Yoga, archery etc. Night time entertainment: kids disco at about 8.15 . Followed by a show. This is where I have to mention Rosa— the most amazing person. The kids club rep. She deserves a medal! To get my daughter laughing, dancing and joining in with other children! We will never forget you. Thank you to the reception, the cleansers, the dinner staff. The bar staff especially chaiqib?? Have. A great break all of you .

A great holiday. The apartment was lovely.The cleaners was great nothing too much trouble. And the apartment was cleaned daily. The food was lovely even when it was the last week of the season. All the staff was friendly and some above and beyond, especially the bar staff. The free bike hire was a wonderful addition and my son loved that .

We were originally located in G block which was very quiet and to be honest a bit secluded, unfortunately I ended up in hospital for 4 days from the day of our arrival! My wife and daughter felt a bit worried about being that far from the main hotel as they were arriving home late from hospital visits etc, and as such requested a room move closer to the reception! I was absolutely blown away by the speed and efficiency at which this request was made possible, the following morning my wife and daughter were assisted by the porter to their new room, this also gave me peace of mind that they too were safe whilst I was stuck in the hospital! Many thanks for dealing with this in such a professional and caring manner! The hotel itself is massive with lots of different accommodation blocks, it is remarkably clean and although we didn’t eat or use the entertainment area they looked like it would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy an evening! 3* is a very low rating for what we thought could easily have been a 4*, we used it on a self catering basis and I would highly recommend for a holiday!

Our 3rd trip to the Floriana resort this time we stayed for 28 days . Amazing as always ..reception staff welcome you with a great attitude and always so helpful , The restaurant manager and supervisor were lovely and helpful with my needs for a soft food diet and the food as always had lots of variety , Mexican night and the tourist night were my favourite. The restaurant team were always smiling and greeted us with a warm welcome. Bar staff are good fun and very welcoming . Rooms are very clean as is the whole resort. We stayed in the Bahia Azur apartments this time but upgraded and used the Floriana every day. We came back for a third time as for us a holiday is made that extra special with familiar faces. Those two faces for us have been Erika in the pool cafeteria who speaks wonderful English and Spanish and is always so happy to see guests and helpful. Erika is a wonderful young woman with a perfect performance in her position at the resort 🩷 and secondly Chakib is the most happiest funniest barman on site he gets the guests smiling and joining in with his encouragement during the evening entertainment schedule 💙. These two members of the team made our 3 holidays the past year such fun that we have already booked to come back for 3 weeks in June and 3 in September 2025. We hope they will both be at the resort.
