Hotel Sur

Yes most definitely, the hotel has two stars over the door before you enter, I would give it 10 stars for the welcome we received, this is a family run hotel and the guest relations is second to none, nothing is too much trouble you will be greeted like family, we had room 318, yes the hotel is basic but our room was spotlessly clean, bring Travel kettle and iron or hire them at reception, you have a mini fridge in the room, whilst the rooms are not massive we had plenty of room for two, stored cases between vanity desk and patio doors, we had a partial sea view over looking the Main Street and bar, whilst could be noisy with entertainment it did not bother us, there is an extensive library and quiet room I left the books I read for others to enjoy, we were half board, very chilled at breakfast with everything you could want toast,coffee,juices,full English sausage amazing plus ham cheese etc,pastries fruits cereal and yoghurts ,great selection,evening meal selection,chicken,pork or fish ,spaghetti Bol,spaghetti carbonara,chips,mash and wedges etc would have liked to have seen more rice but that is totally personal partner does not like any form of potato he still managed to fill himself up so all good, great deserts, bar prices great 2euro small beer,coffee,tea £5.90 for double captain Morgan and coke,live entertainment every night and all the football matches screened. All in all an amazing relaxing chilled out holiday,loved every minute so thank you hotelSur :) Just an aside, construction work is taking place next door and been told ongoing til October, whilst we shut off the noise whilst by the pool you might want to bring ear plugs,the pool area is very chilled the hotel also does bar snacks, toasties,fries etc very reasonable. Transfer time is nearer 2hours or just over as in our case so if you have little ones make sure you take them to the toilet before you board your transfer coach as no toilets on board. Once again thank you to each and every member of staff at Hotel Sur we don’t want to leave tomorrow xx

Book 5 nights for me and my 12 year old daughter, I wasn’t expecting 5 star luxury as it was a cheap holiday, I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are basic but clean, the pool was small but quiet and could always get a sun bed, great location for the beach, shops and restaurants, Cala Millor just a short walk, the entertainment was fab, the breakfast and evening meals were great, my fussy eater loved the lasagne and the cottage pie, I would definitely return for the price :)

Definitely underrated. This hotel is much better than its star rating suggests. The rooms are on the small side but everything else makes up for it. The beds are comfortable, nice linen, air conditioning and a fridge. There was a balcony with furniture. The hotel is clean and nicely presented. Breakfast was buffet service and offered all the usual food and drink, which was fresh and hot. There is a nice pool with a bar and plenty of sun beds. There is also a bar that serves food, has sports tv and live entertainment. The staff were all pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. Enjoyed our stay and the facilities. Definitely recommend.

We are hear at the moment we have found no fault what so ever rooms clean and the beds are the comfy we are bed and breakfast they are amazing all English the staff and cleaners are excellent highly recommended the rooms are lovely we are on the front best place is the front the entertainment is good this is are 2nd time hear how it got to be a 2 star I never no

Just returned from the Hotel Sur and have to say we had a pleasant stay. We were there for 4 nights bed and breakfast. The rooms were clean quiet and comfortable. There was maid service every day except on Sunday. The air con was at no extra cost. Breakfast was very nice with a cooked or continental choice and the usual pastries. Tea and coffee machine was good, nice and hot drinks. The pool area was clean with enough sun beds. The staff were very friendly so overall a pleasant stay and we would return.

So we arrived late around midnight ish, the guy was very blunt with us all but anyway whatever, the rooms were spotless, every day cleaned, fresh towels and bedding and comfy beds too! Decent balcony and a pool view. Lovely woman and man on reception desk, happy to help and friendly. Pool area was nice and always able to get a sun bed no matter what time of day it was which is a bonus to say it's only a small area. The pool was decent however I never saw it get cleaned? All mine and my daughter's swimming stuff and towels turned green and the pool sides were all green? So pretty dirty and the water tasted very very salty. (no I don't drink pool water it just so happens that you get splashed water in face etc ) Didn't eat any food there so can't comment on that but did look nice. They have a little children's area only small but my 3 year old loved it. They also have a park at the back of the hotel too. Plus others dotted around the area, also just 1 minute down the road they have a big bouncy castle, go karts and trampolines for the kids which keeps them occupied for a while. The entertainment on an evening was ok, it was on every night, different singer not my cup of tea in music but was still alright. They did a quiz night which made a change to just listening to someone singing every night. Now onto the part which ruined my holiday personally and other young girls need to be wary of. The bar man Ibrahim who I believe is Nigerian, not that it matters but will make it easy to identify if you decide to go. So I am a 25 year old who has a 3 year old and I also came with my nan. At first we thought he was a lovely guy, was very lovely to my daughter and she took a liking to him very quickly as he played peek a boo with her and was just friendly, then a few days had gone by and the attention he was giving her became more and more, telling her to come over to him, picking her up and asking her do you want an ice cream or do you want a drink? That's nice of him you might be thinking, yes I thought so too, however, he was coming back with 2-3 ice creams a time and drinks etc. now at first we was like aw that's nice of him bla bla but it was becoming very often and then I started getting free drinks brought over to me, but not my Nan? So she was getting charged and I wasn't? A bit unfair given we're there together. Anyway, one night the calling my daughter over was becoming every 10 minutes or so, and he was asking her do you want to come to the shop with me, now under no circumstances would I ever allow a stranger who we've known for 5 days take my daughter out of my sight. Luckily my daughter said no every time, not that I'd of let her had she said yes. Anyway, this particular night when he'd called her over at least 6 times already, he called her over again, to which this time I took her over as every time he kept asking do you want to come to the shop with me and I started to worry that he would take her out of my sight.
