Hotel Luna

Entrance not easy to find ( Opposite the shoe shop). Location and the fact that the hotel is on 14th floor is the reason we booked despite the negative remarks on Google. i would go back if i wanted to stay in downtown Cairo. our room 107 was very good size. I wonder if the staff are well paid? Evening reception clerk, was new to the job, but very nice. Communication between evening staff and day time staff seemed to be lacking. All staff are friendly, but requests were slow to be met. Their towels were wet had to wait till the next morning to have shower. Room's small trash basket not emptied unless we take it out, then it disappears! The wet room styled small bathroom, needs a better solution for getting rid of the water on the floor after shower. The hotel has only one hair dryer! Coffee shop charged us minimum charge then he apologised said he should not have but did not offer refund, we never went back to coffee shop. Did not have breakfast as it is served too late 08:30. There are street food carts downstairs. We also found 'wael of the foul' in a pedestrian alleyway near macdonald, has a couple of tables. He served us the best breakfast with BROWN bread we had for150Egp! It is a backpackers' standards but clean. All things considered, i would still go back
