Exceptional hotel. Very clean. Great breakfast with lots of choices, great selection and very good quality. In-house restaurant is very tasty. Very spacious rooms. Great shower. Separate toilet for privacy. Lovely Balcony with chairs, table and ashtray for smoking people! Secured parking! special storage for bycicles. Rent possibilities if you don’t have your own.A lot of TLC in the hotel, minibar, Nespresso machine, lots of space + hangers in wardrobe! Great domotica light system in room and bathroom! Soap, Shampoo, body Lotion & Co from the RITUALS brand thus high quality! Large TV in special box with an extensible arm which you can turn towards the bed or towards the sitting area… good mirrors with light for make-up, great hairdryer, lots of shelves and drawers to organise your personal stuff neatly! Let’s not forget a lovely swimming pool, sauna, hammam, dressing area and showers! Souvenir Boutique! Beautiful views from the rooms! Peaceful atmosphere! Good service, very friendly staff and on top of everything… free cookies and sweets in the lobby! If we go back to Cadzand, this will be my hotel again!

The location close to the beach and the view were amazing. On the balcony you have a wonderful sunset. The room very clean and a lot of space. The bed the best ever sleeps in. We can also recommend the restaurant for a dinner. Parking the car under the hotel is included.

A very friendly stay! The room and the breakfast was excellent. We were lucky with the weather, 2 weeks and almost no clouds and rain. The beaches are nice too - do not forget to bring your own chairs and umbrella ;) If there is one thing that can be improved then it is the amount of towel hooks in the spa area.

When in Cadzand, this is the place to stay. This was our fourth stay in hotel de schelde and it never disappoints. Friendly staff, beautiful wellness, nice and spacious rooms, dogfriendly, very good and big breakfast. The restaurant also provides good, fresh and quality food prepared like it should be.

Very nice hotel, seems to be quite new. We enjoyed the quietness of the room and the styling was very nicely done. The pool and sauna give it that extra touch to feel comfortable. Diner and breakfast are great. No complaints there, the food is of high quality and the restaurant has a very nice feel and atmosphere. The service is great! One more thing that makes this a great stay is the location. Just 2 minutes walk from the nice beach and dunes! A great place to stay over the weekend. We'll come back for sure!

We stayed at the Hotel De Schelde for a few days in early June 2024. The hotel as such was fine, but we had a very negative experience with their service and support. As we were driving out of the underground garage, the garage door (see photo) shut all of a sudden damaging our car. This should not have happened, because doors like this have sensors, preventing the door from closing when a car approaches it. Even though we immediately informed the hotel and documented the damage in much detail, the hotel did not help. They claimed that the garage door was not owned by the hotel, but another company. It took many emails during two months until an insurance company refused to reimburse me, because they stated that maybe „the damage could have been prevented with sufficient vigilance“. I am now having to take legal action, but I would like other clients to be aware of this, as driving into and out of the garage is a problem that has also been listed in other recessions.
