Beautiful hotel in the old part of the city. Was surprised it was a 4 star as no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Limited room service and when we went down to buy and bring up tea and a glass of wine, was told they would have to bring the tea up and only a bottle of wine, not a glass could be purchased for the room. Room was nice and bed comfy. Breakfast was pleasant. Location is really good as you drop down onto the main town quickly where there's lots of shopping and eateries. Parking is about 10 minutes walk away

This is one of the best European hotels I have stayed in for years. The owners have done a superb renovation, ensuring the Casa Pizarro Hotel stays true to its location in Extremadura. They get the little/big things right: excellent beds, large and modern bathrooms and enough electrical sockets. Exceedingly friendly staff! The hotel's location is perfect: walking distance to everything in the delightful city of Caceres. Book room 208 with its fabulous balcony or any of the other rooms with balconies. I will go back.

Beautiful small boutique hotel in the old part of this lovely town. Quiet, comfortable and very well situated. Our room was spotlessly clean. Just three minutes walk from the Plaza Mayor. No restaurant but very good breakfast. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is available nearby at a small cost.

This is a nice small hotel right next to the old city. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, in-room safe, television with English channels, and a decent breakfast with eggs made to order. The hotel can be a bit hard to find if you're just relying on GPS, but it's actually not hard to find at all. Instead of navigating to the hotel, navigate to the Gran Teatro on C. Parras. Right across the street is C. San Pedro, which basically is a shopping and restaurant street. Take San Pedro a very short distance until you see a building bearing the word "NATI." On the right side of that building is C. Donoso Cortes. Follow Donoso Cortes up the hill and it turns into Calle Pizarro. The hotel will be on the right. Parking must be reserved, but it's pretty easy to find. Get the entry code from the front desk and then navigate again to the Gran Teatro and continue up C. Parras for a couple of blocks past C. San Pedro. The parking lot is on the left a couple of blocks up past the Gran Teatro.

The front desk person was very friendly and courteous. There were some confusions at the restaurant. We made a reservation at 8:30 pm. When we arrived, they could only seat us at the terrace. Since it was noisy outside, we requested to sit indoors. They said they had to clean first. That took till after 9pm. Once we were seated, the food was ok. Please remember the restaurant personnel did not speak English so it would be very helpful if the guests spoke Spanish. Maybe there would have been less confusions. The breakfast was great. The insulation was so good even though noisy outside as the rooms facing the noisy bars below. I agree with other writers regarding stench smells due to sewage. Nothing you can do about it as this is an old city. Who knows how the sewage system works? The parking is 5 minutes away and the hotel staff will direct you. Overall, ok experience.

Well taken care of by the staff The staff were most pleasant and helpful. Rocio not only spoiled me as to the room/suite with a great view but also made suggestions as to what to see and where to eat. In the evening, the front desk was also helpful regarding a restaurant for tapas nearby.

It was a perfect stay! The hotel was recently renovated and no expense was spared. After living in Spain for 32 years, this is the first hotel I have stayed at that treated me like a valued guest. The room was beautiful with little terrace and the bathroom was incredible with high quality La Chinata (made with EVOO) soaps, conditioners, shampoos and hand and body creams. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary which I mentioned in passing, and they surprised us with a little bottle of cava and a note and some chocolates. They even called when we were on the road to tell us about some construction taking place, and suggesting a better route through the city. The recepcionist was like a world class concierage service and was so helpful and friendly. Also, the value for money is top notch. It really was the best hotel experience I have had in Spain! Location also perfect by the way! I can't wait to go back. Perfect perfect stay, could not be happier!
