Overall ok, just that is an old hotel. Add on 1 night stay and already inform counter, but during the add on day still msg me and inform late charges fee. Then room cannot go in, have to go counter to do it again. But at last counter settle and did not have any extra pay.

Serious attention for the top management of De’Garden Hotel, Butterworth please teach your cleaner (I’m not sure what his actual race maybe Rohigya/Bangladesh/India) manner and politeness toward hotel guess next time around! Although i tagged “Don’t Disturb” sign at my door room that doesn’t mean I can’t ask for complimentary drinking water that included daily per room 2 bottle or ask for room service (see photo of the unclean table result right after your cleaner staff claim he had tidy my room unit). Among my previous visit since last year this time was the worst ever i regretted my stay for 5 days in role here sorry to said🤬🤬🤬

Regarding my deposit of RM 25 was deducted on the late check out of 3 minutes, hotel manager Mr Dickson was very sincere to apologise on this issue, and promised to make refund on the deposit, thanks for Mr Dickson’s understanding.

Clean, comfortable hotel. Good value for money. There is a water dispenser/heater in the room. That is very convenient. The sink was blocked and they repaired it quickly.
There is a 99 Speedmart and a restaurant within walking distance.

Can't complain for its price. But the room did reek heavily of cigarettes during check in, not sure if the smell came from next door as the cigarette smell keeps coming back every night I come back to the room after work, especially in the bathroom where the exhaust fan is.
Otherwise comfortable bed, huge TV, and great location.

Vary bad experiences.
The hotel leaves a very poor impression. How does it have a three-star rating? The electric kettle is very old. There are no anti-slip mats in the bathroom. The air conditioning doesn't cool properly either. The pillows have a strange smell.

I had a pleasant experience during my stay at De’ Garden Hotel. The self-service check-in and check-out kiosk made the process seamless and convenient, which I appreciated.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to assist, including helping with entry to the building.
The parking facilities were guest-friendly and accessible, and the cleanliness of the lifts and the availability of a water dispenser for both hot and cold water were thoughtful touches.
I was especially impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, which were spotless.
However, there were a few aspects that could be improved.
1) The soundproofing in the room was less than ideal, as I could hear noises from outside the room and vice versa, which affected the overall tranquility.
2) Additionally, the air conditioner appeared to need maintenance.
As someone who values cleanliness, I noticed some dust in the filter, and I would recommend scheduling regular air conditioner cleaning every two months,
particularly if the units are heavily used.
3) Lastly, the door closures were quite loud, which could easily disturb light sleepers or children.
Addressing this would enhance the overall guest experience.
Despite these minor inconveniences, my overall stay at De’ Garden Hotel was enjoyable, and I look forward to seeing these improvements in the future.
