Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping

We stayed in the camping area for a week. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were very helpful and there was even a pop up bar within walking distance that was worth a visit. I think this site would appeal to couples and young families. There are sheep in the adjoining orchards with lots of walks and cycle rides nearby.

WE stayed on the camp site part of the site, so I cannot comment on the Glamping Pods - which did look very comfortable. The setting is quiet and peaceful, and the apple trees are beautiful. WE slept well in our camper van. However, in order to wash up, one has to boil a kettle, which is situated in the men's toilet block! This is not ideal and could easily be rectified by the owners if they were so minded. For the price, the facilities were a little out-dated

When we were given the opportunity to take a bit of time off, we jumped at the chance to book a little glamping stay at Orchard Farm. We have no regrets. The site is nestled within an orchard, and each pod is situated in a way which allows total privacy. My partner and I both agreed that the pod was stunning, complete with a fully functioning kitchenette, bed, sofa, tv and a toilet/shower room. Each pod comes with private parking too. Outside we had a decking with a table+chairs for dining, a tanning bed and a private, sheltered BBQ area. The pods are surrounded by the apple orchard, and grazing sheep (fenced off) were part of the landscape. Kathy gave us a super warm welcome. Whilst we recognise that we were very lucky with the weather, we cannot empathise enough just what a wonderful time we had. We felt extremely relaxed and did not want for anything. We even ordered a cheese and cider hamper from Kathy, which allowed us to test the cider and apple juice made from the apples in the orchard. The location is excellent if you would like to visit Glastonbury. We went to see the abbey ruins, the chalice well and the Tor. We went to Ilchester one evening to eat at an Italian restaurant which we would highly recommend. On the way back we went through Cheddar Gorge. We are both absolutely certain that we will be coming back to stay again.

Lovely overnight stop in our Motorhome, with a friendly welcome. 3 miles from Street, if you need to visit Clark’s Village, and perfect peace with only an occasional car passing - in fact you’re more likely to hear the clip clop of passing horses! A very beautiful part of Somerset. The site is in an orchard and is immaculately kept and definitely worth leaving the noises main roads for! Certainly nothing bad to say!

This campsite is amazing, we stayed for 1 week in the Jubilee week in our campervan with are 2 basset hounds Rosco and Shadow. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful and the cider that they make is lovely, make sure you try some. The toilet and shower are kept very clean. There are walks straight from the site.Will definitively return.If you want peace and tranquillity this is the place for you.

We booked two pods for a weekend getaway with my brother in law and his wife and had no real idea what we we would find. We were overwhelmed on arrival to see just how well laid out and beautiful the site is with manicured grass, orchard trees and, most unexpectedly, the company of some 2 dozen sheep and lambs some of whom were very vocal at times. The pods lack nothing in creature comforts including underfloor heating, strong wi-fi and smart TV to name just a few. There was everything you could need to self-cater including a smart barbecue area with comfortable seating and decking, outdoor lighting and a recliner chair. The pods resemble railway carriages with Hobbit style doors and are well made with copious hot water, spacious showers and a lovely comfortable bed. There's also a sofa and table indoors so you really couldn't ask for much more. They clearly have though this out very well. The cherry on the cake was the hamper of home made ciders, local cheddar cheese and chutney and biscuits. Delicious. There are pubs nearby and and Butleigh is just a stones throw away with the trip to Glastonbury taking about 15 minutes. You will need a car to make the most of this place although a bike would be suitable if you didn't want to explore too far (or are extremely fit!) We left feeling totally relaxed and plan to return later this year
