"We rented a car to go to Yanmenguan and stayed here on the first day. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and the service was warm and patient. It was the most satisfactory hotel among the mid-to-high-end hotels I stayed in during my few days of traveling in Shanxi. There are 5 and 6 floors downstairs. There are restaurants for eating, which is very convenient for tourists who arrive late. They don’t have to run out to find food."

The well-trained staff are courteous and sincere, helping guests with luggage to their rooms and loading them onto the car upon departure. HHuahua@ailvxingI always change B&Bs every time I visit Mount Wutai, and as someone who loves cleanliness, I'll definitely stay here again! Located near Guanyin Temple, the hotel exudes a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are simply elegantly decorated, with wooden accents and traditional Chinese design creating a warm and comfortable feel.
What really surprised me was the hotel's hand-beading and sutra-copying activities. The beading program provided a variety of materials, allowing users to create their own unique bracelets, which was incredibly fun. The sutra-copying program provided a moment of peace amidst my busy life, allowing me to relax and purify my soul.
The service was also very attentive. The staff were warm and friendly, always smiling, making me feel right at home. The included breakfast was quite generous for the area.
Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. I was very satisfied with both the ambiance and the service. 👍

GGuest UserA really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough!
The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.

2205350****The environment and hygiene of the homestay are quite good in the scenic area. Disposable bath towels and towels are provided, which is quite thoughtful and understands the needs of customers. The homestay is not located next to the main road in the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, but you can take the scenic area's free shuttle bus Line 10 to the ”Dachegou” station, get off and follow the navigation to get there. The first time I went there I was a little confused, so I took a taxi from the bus station, and when I came out the boss drove me to the main street himself. After walking around the scenic area, I found Line 10, which is a blue and white bus. It is more spacious and comfortable than ordinary buses and it is free, so it is quite convenient to get in and out. So overall the experience was good, quiet, sanitary, and the boss was nice. By the way, I also gave a Wuye Temple bracelet when I checked out:)

ZZuzuFacilities: There is a dirt road outside the B&B, it is dirty, and there is no parking space. We just park everywhere. It was around 9pm when the owner let us park next to a huge smelly garbage dump. There is a construction site outside the hotel, which feels really bad. The public areas in the B&B are more elegant, but the room facilities are outdated. There are no hangers or places to dry the clothes, and the experience of putting them on the railings of the walkway is very poor.
Hygiene: Overall it is relatively clean, but there are small bugs on the floor and walls at night. (The first picture was taken when I came back today to collect clothes. There was no hanging paper when we checked in)
Service: After parking the car at night, the male shop owner took the initiative to help carry the box and did not let the box walk all the way in the mud. The female shop owner also asked us enthusiastically how we came, how to get there, and how to get to the scenic spot. She also took the initiative to ask us not to drive the next day because there were many people and cars, so she asked the male shop owner to take us to the starting point and take the bus, which was great with our children. Sit alone. It turned out that the next morning there was nothing about last night. I took the initiative to ask her how to send us off. She immediately pretended to be stupid and said you can take the bus yourself! I was very puzzled. After I went out, I met the male shopkeeper. As soon as he saw us, he immediately said, ”Beauty, you can go.” (Obviously he didn't forget the conversation last night) But the woman chased her out and said, yes, they will go and take the bus by themselves. The man understood it as soon as he heard it, and I identified the fake enthusiastic female shop owner. In the end, I asked the male shopkeeper to take us out of the sun-drenched and dirty dirt road and take us to the entrance of the village to take a bus. I took my children for more than 10 stops along the way to the Wu Dad Temple.
There are many B&Bs and hotels on Wutai Mountain. This B&B is not worth more than 500 in terms of location and setting. Having a lot of frivolous public facilities in the store does not make any sense to our guests. The experience of staying here is not good!

TTAN BOON LIANG BERNARDThis is our first time visiting Wutaishan and we stayed here for 5 nights. We came here by a direct bus from Beijing and the hotel picked us from the bus terminal in Wutaishan. The hotel driver was helpful and polite. We were greeted by 2 pleasant front desk ladies upon check in. We received a beads bracket gift and welcome fruit plate .
During the first day we had an issue with the air conditioning unit in our room and they changed our room the very next day.
The hotel is located just off a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops. There is also a shuttle bus stop just around the corner. There are many famous temples here all within walking distance from the hotel. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is delicious and we had a meal served in our room.
The lady boss (who we didn’t meet) provided us with information for our trip planning and helped us to book a land tour of the 5 mountains.
Lastly we would like to compliment the 2 front desk staff, the 2 cleaning staff and the driver for their enthusiastic attitude and service.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

HHemamahuanyoushijieVery good accommodation experience, clean and tidy, turn left and 100 meters away is the Puhua Temple bus stop, it is very convenient to go anywhere, turn right and there are many restaurants about 150-200 meters away, it is very convenient. The bathroom has disposable face towels and disposable toilet seats. Everyone at the front desk provided very good service. A lady at the front desk took the initiative to heat up our meals and delivered them to our room. It was cold and windy, and my friend caught a cold and fever. The hotel promptly informed us of the phone number of a nearby pharmacy and delivered it to us. In short, it was a very good accommodation experience with a very high cost-performance ratio.

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

There are many hotels in the surrounding area, and the ancient city of Dai County is also worth visiting. The shower was a big problem. The hot water had to be left on for a long time and the water was not flowing smoothly. The hot water did not come and the shower water overflowed. In addition, the water temperature can never be adjusted to the right temperature, and it is hot and cold. I feel both cold and hot after taking a bath, which is a torture. The problem is that the hotel does not understand the technology related to hot water supply. The hotel uses electric heaters to heat to 70°C. In this case, hot and cold water are supplied to multiple points in parallel. The temperature adjustments interfere with each other and the water temperature cannot be controlled. I have told the front desk how to solve the problem specifically. In a good hotel, people have been commenting on the bath water problem. Please solve it quickly, and it can also reduce a lot of costs.

GGuest UserThe room was very good, because we checked in directly from the room that had just been checked out. The room had a bit of odor, but it quickly dissipated when we opened the window. The front desk was warm and thoughtful. The hotel is located at the foot of the mountain, very quiet, and the bed in the room was very comfortable. It is not far from the scenic area bus station, which makes it convenient to travel. It is in town and very convenient to eat and play!
