ArtFactory Soho Hotel Buenos Aires – The Worst Experience of My Life This place was an absolute nightmare from start to finish — truly a shock of my life. I booked a room and expected a simple check-in, but instead I was left stranded outside in the freezing cold with no way to get in. Why? Because they never sent me the door code ahead of time, and when I arrived, there was no one at reception to welcome me or even help. After waiting and trying repeatedly, I finally got a response through WhatsApp — only to be demanded to pay an extra $50 USD before they would hand me the key to the room I already paid for. When I asked other guests if they had to pay this scammy “fee,” they all said no, they never paid anything extra. But this guy was relentless, refusing to give me my key unless I paid up. Only after I told him that the other guests confirmed they didn’t pay did he “reluctantly” make an exception. It was painfully obvious he was trying to scam me — who even is this guy? I’m putting the phone number of the person responsible here so others can be warned about this blatant attempt to extort money: [+54 9 11 6977-8010]. And I attached screenshots of the conversation for proof. This is beyond pathetic. A hotel where you’re left out in the cold, with no code, no reception, and a shady staff member trying to extort an extra $50 for no reason. I had already paid for my room, yet this scammer tried to squeeze money out of me like I was some tourist with no choice. ArtFactory Soho is hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. This scammer must be dealt with immediately!

I arrived to the hotel at 10 pm. They emailed me the check in hours and it said they would be open till 11. The front desk was closed and I was stuck outside. I had to walk around and find a near by hotel. which to do late at night in an unknown city is something I didn't want to do. I was able to check in the next day. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Good location, but small. the amenity is bare minimum.

Hôtel bien placé dans Palermo. Pas d’accueil et chambre et surtout SDB étroites cependant qui répond au prix proposé. On en a pour notre argent…

Excelente ubicación, precio y atención. Sin embargo, terrible el olor a gas por una pérdida que de momentos se volvía insoportable y un riego para la salud y el bienestar. Al menos, los 2 últimos días estuvo muy fuerte y pareciera que se acumulaba en la planta baja.
