Tranquility, lap cat Jerry, old house charm, incredible breakfasts with fresh fruit, eggs and ham, proximity to amazing hiking trails in the Smoky mt park. All of these made for a rejuvenating 3 days. We needed to calm down after evacuating our retreat near Little Switzerland due to wildfires last week. We swapped that retreat for Folkestone Inn. I enjoyed this one more. And we will return!! Thanks Toni for your hospitality and wonderful food!

Toni and Scott made our second stay just as wonderful as the first. Lots of extra touches; library, game room, cookies in the afternoon, the best breakfast around, fluffy towels, beautiful surroundings. I could go on and on. We've decided to make this an annual tradition, even coming back with my daughter next month.

The is a winderful peaceful place to stay. It has history in the house. The owners are incredible Chefs. The breakfast is wonderful. Everyone is so friendly. It is minutes from town but it is so quiet and peaceful. You feel like you are on a farm away from the hustle and bustle. We will definitely be back.

The accommodations are great, the breakfasts were delicious, and the grounds are relaxing, but Toni and Scott are the gems that really make this place special. They are incredible hosts and went out of their way to make our experience top notch.

This place is the perfect B&B. The hosts are retired chefs so the food is amazing. The bed was SO comfortable with soft sheets and cozy pillows. The farmhouse has all the charm of age - thick wood floorboards, claw foot tubs, and a deep porch that overlooks a long grassy yard, a walking bridge over a tiny creek, and an amazing fire pit. Despite its age the AC kept up with the July heat well and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast room was surrounded by windows making a bright and beautiful place to start the day. It is very close to Deep Creek park which I highly recommend, and close to Bryson City with its charming downtown and plentiful restaurants and breweries. I am already planning my next trip. This may be my favorite stay ever.

We stayed for a week and had the most relaxing experience. Breakfast was delicious and different every morning. Our hosts were so kind and wonderful resources for finding out about the local area and things to do. We stayed in the Carson Farmhouse room and loved our backdoor access. Bed was super comfy, comfortable sitting area and the communal areas were like being at home. The plus was getting to chat with the other guests and find out even more places to go. We will be back! Oh, and did I mention the fresh baked cookies every afternoon? The almond joy cookies were the best!

We love Folkestone Inn! This was our second stay and we loved it all over again. We love how quiet it is, how comfortable the rooms are, how serene the gardens are..it's just the perfect. From the cookies on your arrival to the last amazing breakfast on your way out, it checks all the boxes. Toni is so nice and really wants you to have a great stay. There must be a reason 4 couples were there celebrating their anniversary!! I will say it again, they do the bed and breakfast stay perfectly❤️ Go ahead, make the reservation, you will be so glad you did!! Thank you guys for making our 26th anniversary special❤️
