The waiter was very nice, the room was small, the location was very good, very close to the University of Bristol, and the warm thing was that you could see fruits on the table as soon as you entered the room. Be sure to book in advance, the price is different every day, and the price fluctuates greatly when school starts in September.

The front desk clerk who received the check-in was very enthusiastic. The room was cold after check-in. I called the front desk and arranged for a blanket to be delivered. The service was good. There are small snacks in the room, which is not bad.

We recently had our wedding and wedding reception at The Square Club, and thus had 3 nights at the gorgeous hotel alongside. The preparation was easy, with the support of Jasmin in booking rooms for us, our family and close friends. There was even a discount for our immediate bridal party. Then Lara supported us closer to the time in ensuring all rooms were accurately booked and answered any last minute requests. Communication was quick. For the weekend, the reception team ( Noah, Liam, Ella, and Maisie) were efficiently on had in checking us in and getting us any last minute things. The bridal suite came with such thoughtful touches such as a card, some complimentary biscuits and aperitif. The rooms were changed daily, tidied and fresh towels and made bed! The interior is gorgeous, with a stunning view of lower Bristol. Upon checkout day, the team let us pop back and forth to collect wedding items which helped for an easy checkout. I’d recommend The Square Club for a wedding/celebration all day everyday, and the gorgeous hotel alongside!

This hotel was booked because I had to volunteer nearby on the Saturday. I have an invisible disability that makes me chronically tired. They said the music would stop at 10:30, but after multiple inquiries it turned out to be at midnight. They didn't have a solution for this and initially didn't even apologise. I'm writing this to "Don't Look Back In Anger", of which I can hear every single word, not to mention the drum rolls. I love live music but please don't build a club next to a bedroom. This has been nothing but a horrible experience. On top of it all, they said tomorrow will be disco until midnight as well. You can't make this up. Good old Travelodge next time.

Gorgeous little hotel with stunning attractions. There was an event on when I stayed which meant not a lot was available, but the room was so cosy that I’ll be back again next year! Thank you to Liam and El for the great service over the weekend!
