The Exchange Coach House Inn

Room was in the courtyard so very noisy at night. Comfy bed, basic facilities, stayed for 2 nights . The bathroom was ridiculously tiny. If you are of a larger size you will struggle to use the facilities. The Italian restaurant was lovely as was breakfast in the morning. Very pleasant and welcoming staff. The car park is tiny we managed to get the last space you can literally park 8 cars and that's it.

We stayed on 19th July for 2 nights. This was our 3rd stay at this property. I would just like to say a big thank you to the staff, especially the lovely friendly blonde lady who is always on duty, and seems to do absolutely everything with a smile. Also the security lady who served our late night drinks and then our lovely breakfast, the staff work so hard. I hope that management appreciate their hard work and loyalty! The new sports bar is great, again the bar staff in this area were polite and friendly. The gentleman who sorted out the TV to show F1 was very accommodating. Could I suggest to the Hotel management to consider some sort of loyalty program for repeat guests.

I've been staying at The Exchange for several weeks with work. The choices of bars and restaurants onsite is Brilliant. Though it can get busy during weekends and during football its still been a comfortable place to stay. The staff have been very welcoming, I'd be back on a leisure trip too.

Really clean and comfortable rooms, I don't know what mattresses they are but I want one. Had dinner in lascito brilliant food and nice vibe. Attentive staff. Breakfast in The Doghouse was lovely and the guest discount went down very well. Look forward to returning when the sports bar opens.

1. The outside of the building is covered in scaffolding and it was not easy to navigate the tiny entrance with works vehicles parked along the parking area. There was no mention or advance warning of this before we arrived and we were under the illusion that we would be staying in the main building. 2. We were informed that staff were on holiday and consequently we could not be guaranteed a table for dinner even though your website suggests there are various options for eating. 3. Our room was very cold on arrival. 4. The window with shutters does not allow for any air or natural light to enter the room because people walking immediately past the window can easily see inside. 5. There are no chairs in the room. 6. There is no table or vanity unit to place anything on so with no chairs either we were living off the floor. 7. The room is a basic just box and very claustrophobic. As is the bathroom. 8. There was no wall mounted mirror in the bathroom. 9. The bathroom floor was freezing and the room never felt warm. 10. We paid £80 for the room only yet it would have cost around £50 if it was booked the same day when we checked. 11. There is no soundproofing from the adjoining room or from outside in the courtyard.
