The Brunswick Hotel

The hotel is only ok, despite being refurbed by its current owners (Harrison Leisure Group) The rooms are clean, it's cheap and cheerful. What makes it a good experience (despite not offering breakfast) is the enthusiasm of Kirsty (who checked me in, and showed me to my room). Her bubbly enthusiasm, and obvious love for the place, is something that money can't buy. Harrison Leisure take note, your employees are the front face of your group, look after them. Karaoke is my thing, so I had a great time (thanks Micky Dee)......and I'd be happy to stay there again......as a solo traveller. Keep smiling.

nice place to go with friends and family for a regular night without young people being rowdy. brilliant place, with both sides being more lively and the other being calmer, staff were very nice, helpful and informative of where to go afterwards

To be honest I have never stopped in a place as worse, £75 a night, maybe should have been half that. Room was small, dirty, duvet had fluff hanging out of the bottom of it, no hot water, ran it for ages, ya sat on the toilet and it all moved, didn't even shower, cos of mould round the base. Carper looked like it had been cut with scissors to fit in the room. Also odd stains on it. Bar area was decent, barmaid very Plesent and chatty, bar shut round 9.30pm, so had to go elsewhere. I'm not one for ripping hotels, I have stopped in many in my time, but I'm sorry this place needs money spending on the rooms to get to a good standard, I've paid this kind of money in other hotels and they have been at a good standard. So it's the 👎 for me, avoid.

Appreciate the Manager/Owner is trying to make a go of it in difficult times but the room was simply not worth the £80 charge with no breakfasts. It was a very basic 'workman' type twin room with a serious musty/stale smoke odour and heavily stained carpet. We were there for one night and checked out at 5.30am as did not want to stay any longer. At £40.00 we might have said at least it was a bed, but at £80 we feel robbed. Never again...

Great, warm friendly place to stay and very close to the promenade and beach activities, my Daughter loved staying here with me. Bev is a great landlord and is very friendly host. We stayed in room 4 which had a nice view down the high street with a Large bay window with plenty of sunlight.

A good base & well located at the top end of Bridlington, about a 5 mins walk from the nearest beach. Welcoming staff; rooms with en-suite bathrooms; very comfortable bed; tea/coffee making facilities; free WiFi; remote control tv; small selection of toiletries available, etc. And well priced if truth be told. Live entertainment and karaoke on most days of the week in the downstairs bar area - although I don't recall hearing any noise after say, 11.30 pm/midnight during my 2 night-stay. Granted, no breakfast is offered in the price, however, there are more than ample near-by cafes/eateries that offer a wide selection of breakfast/brunch options. You won't go hungry as such! Within 10-15 mins walking distance of the Bridlington Spa (i.e. dance hall, theatre and conference centre) as well.
