We have just returned from a week in Hotel de La Chaussee and had a wonderful time. We stayed in one of the lofts (2 adults and 2 children). The staff were really kind and helpful. We had half board and the breakfasts and dinners were great. We enjoyed walking to the old town and the gondola and slopes were about a 5-10 min (easy walk). We enjoyed being in Briancon, as it provided us with a mix of skiing and history. Highly recommend this hotel for a traditional French stay in the mountains.

We arrived very late at the hotel, which was not a problem as we had received a detailed description of the parking and key box. It is great that you can park in the hotel's backyard as the hotel is in the middle of the city. We ate a nice breakfast which can be recommended, but since we had booked 2 apartments, all 7 of us ate there. It was 2 delicious Alpine authentic apartments with 2 bedrooms and kitchen/living room. We can also recommend eating at the hotel's restaurant, which oozes alpine atmosphere and good food. The staff were very service-oriented and extremely welcoming. All in all, we had the perfect ski holiday and not least because of our lovely stay at the Hotel de la Chaussee. Soren Hansen

Beautiful, characterful hotel in a great location in a quiet pedestrianised street near bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful owner. Really comfortable and stylish rooms with lots of characterful Alpine touches. Great that room had two armchairs and a kettle for making tea. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons séjourné 1 semaine dans cet hôtel familial au style savoyard, très central. Equipe très à l’écoute. Le patron est un homme chaleureux. Nous étions en famille à 5 et le petit appartement au dernier étage était parfait. Bon restaurant aussi. Parking très pratique si on a une voiture. Nous recommandons fortement.

Un accueil assez froid, terrasse de la chambre sans aucun entretien, petit déjeuner très moyen en quantités et qualité. Bref, un séjour bien décevant au regard du prix de la nuitée et des prestations que nous avions connues il y a quelques années.

Hôtel d'une propreté impeccable, le personnel est super sympa. Le petit déjeuner est composé de produits frais et très variés. Nous avons pris la 1/2 pension et le repas du soir était excellent et copieux. Parking sécurisé. Nous recommandons cet endroit.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la qualité de l’accueil et de la décoration de l’hôtel et des chambres. C’est un endroit très chaleureux et idéalement situé. En période de Noël quel plaisir et quel bonheur d’y avoir séjourné. Il ne manquait que la neige.
