The Kassianeum Youth Hostel

Struttura molto comoda a due passi dalla piazza centrale di Bressanone. Consiglio vivamente di alloggiare in questo ostello se non si hanno particolari esigenze e si vuole visitare la zona senza spendere troppo. Possibilità di camere con bagno privato e colazione compresa. Abbiamo trovato il bagno della quadrupla un poco malandato ma per il resto tornerei volentieri.

Lovely place located right in the center of Bressanone. I was with my family in the week between Christmas and New Year and we stayed in an independent room with bathroom, with two rooms and five beds, more than suitable for my family unit. At that time there were almost all families visiting the Christmas markets like us or going to the snow. The Bressanone Christmas market was right in the square around the corner, but in any case the hostel was located a 10 minute walk from the station which allowed us to reach all the nearby towns such as Bolzano and Merano by train in four days , Vipiteno, Trento and also Innsbruck in Austria, what a splendor to see Trentino Alto Adige with its markets. Returning to the hostel we stayed with half board which was superb compared to the cost requested, a splendid simple breakfast but full of every delicacy and an excellent dinner with a nice buffet of vegetables and salads and a first course or a second course with typical local side dish, more than abundant, very tasty and also sweet. We woke up every evening full, satisfied and with a full stomach, you just have to adapt to their schedules because we have dinner at 7pm. In summary it is a dated structure, but very well kept, clean, comparable to a hotel in the historic center which allows a modest family to visit those areas compared to the prohibitive costs of the competition.
