Travelodge Hotel - Brentwood East Horndon

Great for a stopover, comfy bed. Big shoutout to the gentleman on reception in the evening- so friendly and polite. Free parking was the reason we chose this hotel. Pub couple of minutes’ walk on the complex which we used for our evening meal and Starbucks next door

We stayed for three nights. The staff were welcoming and friendly. In general, although clean, the decor was a bit "tired" and could do with a refresh. That said, the room was a nice size and in the hot weather it wasnt hot and stuffy like some budget hotels, so we were able to get a good night's sleep. Getting on the Wi-Fi was an issue. Previous stays at a Travelodge I purchased up-front and used the code. This time I thought I would pay as I went. My device loaded up the landing page but I wasnt able to get further. The help pages were useless as they said you can pay for access by clicking on the link on the landing page, but I was unable to see any such link, so I abandoned any idea of internet access during our stay.

Stayed here 42 nights for a business trip unless it's admit I don't understand what the bad reviews are about. I had a room on the first floor which wasn't an issue for me. My room was at the back of the whole tall, so I had no noise. The room was big and spacious and was immaculately clean. The bathroom door didn't fully shut, but as it was me on my own, it wasn't an issue. Yes, the communal areas may be a little bit dated, but they were still clean. Room was warm enough, and there was a fan provided. Bathroom was very clean no complaints. Very comfortable bed and 2 peaceful night's sleeps

Booked two rooms. Overnight stay fir a trip into London. Easy to find. Has a Starbucks next door. Rooms at the back were quiet can't speak if the noise at the front of the hotel nearest the road as our rooms were at the back. Had an leak in the bathroom from possibly a soap dispenser which we reported. Happened 3 times in just 1 overnight stay. Needs sorting as could have been dangerous as floor was slippery. Otherwise very sufficient for a short stay. On the older style of decoration but was clean.

Discusting hotel, bed was rotten, carpets were very dirty, toilet did not flush and couldn’t shower as shower did not work, then no running cold water. Do not stay here, asked for manager to call me and still have not heard from him, I have never experienced anything like this in my life

There was no sea view and the cocktail bar was difficult to find. The swimmimg pool was a little dry.
