Great green hotel. Very tasty restaurant. Access to the ocean, great beaches nearby. Very polite staff. We went to see the volcano eruption in 2021. This hotel has a beautifully landscaped garden, and even a parrot. If you go outside the hotel there is a very beautiful coastline with beaches and restaurants. There is a place to spend time

Beautiful welcoming hotel, fabulous gardens and pool. Staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and Lola the parrot is a great asset. We were unaware that La Palma is more for hikers and astrology so the hotel is mostly quiet. There's very few shops, a couple of restaurants and bars. Self catering is advised.

Friendliest, warmest hospitality team we’ve ever met. Wonderful gardens around the pool, excellent beachfront location, convenient breakfast-dinner options. We’ve been here twice and wouldn’t hesitate coming a third time, if circumstances permit.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hacienda San Jorge! They have a massive pool surrounded by gorgeous gardens. The beach is only a few steps away. The rooms are spacious and spotless. The staff were very attentive and kind. They spoke English and German perfectly. I have issues with my back and my bed was a tad bit hard but I asked for a bed topper and it was fine after that. The room was a little warm at times as they do not have AC, but they were able to accommodate me with a fan. We enjoyed the location. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance. The best part was the car/room package deal! We had a car ready within minutes of checking in . The whole process was very easy. The island of La Palma is absolutely magnificent! We will definitely be back.

It has been an absolutely wonderful stay. We have travelled a lot, and we are rarely this sad to be returning home. Hacienda San Jorge has been a dream. The resort is beautiful, and even better than the pictures you can find online. The staff and service is impeccable, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to mention Nevis, who works in the little supermarket in the resort, she is a lovely person and really made us feel welcome! The animals on the resort made the experience even more special. Like other reviews mentioned previously, there is indeed no airconditioning in the rooms. We asked for two fans and this solved the issue. The only thing we would like to see improved is the buffet dinner. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening, but we were surprised to notice that most of the food was cold, despite being placed under heaters. However, overall this was a fantastic stay and we will be returning as soon as possible.

Hotel and gardens are lovely, as are the staff. I would have left a 5 star review were it not for the confusion at the end with the hotel bill which we'd settled the day before leaving, but there was an issue with staff training and/or the system so on checking it out it was stressful. This ruined an otherwise perfect stay.

Excellent staff, very hospital. Comfortable room with view. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. It’s a beautiful place to be! Also nearby supermarkets and Ofcourse Santa Cruz. With a car it’s a 10 minute drive. Just outside the hacienda is the beach, also suitable for little children

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. My room, located in C Block on the third floor, had an amazing view - very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Only stayed a few days for a work trip but would love to come back for leisure.

We had a wonderful time here at Hacienda San Jorge for our honeymoon! The hotel has a very relaxed ambiance. The garden is magnificent! Many beautiful plants, truly a treat for your eyes! With many calming and soothing water trickles that instantly make you feel like you're in hot spring! We enjoyed the birds chirping around us, the lizards bathing in sunlight, and we loved the hotel's pets! The pool itself was beautiful, clean and had a pleasant temperature on sunny days. The apartment itself was comfortable, modern and clean. All the staff was super friendly during our stay, and we would like to extend special compliments to the bartender Fidias at the Orchid bar for being so kind, friendly and helpful! We loved his stories about the drinks he made, and thanks to him we visited the rum distillery Aldea (really worth a visit if you are planning a visit to La Palma!)! To sum up: beautiful, friendly and clean hotel/apartment and especially recommended if you love nature and animals! We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit La Palma!
