Fair warning: This would have been a 5 star review. Our stay was great, and our little one loved it. It's a really great place for kids and families, honestly, it was the best family hotel for kids we've ever been to. Sure, the wellness area for the parents could be better, bit still, totally worth it, because our son had an absolute blast. On our last day however, I got food poisoning, so in the morning of our departure I was quite sick. We managed to check out on time but then had to wait 40 minutes for the car to take us to the station. So I had to wait at the reception, going to the common bathroom at least twice and when I asked the lady at the reception for a glass of water, she told me, in a very unfriendly manner, that I would have to go the restaurant. All this while I was clearly very sick and weakened. A glass of water is not a lot to ask specially since you can drink tapwater in Switzerland. So once you check-out of this hotel, forget being treated with basic human decency. It's a shame because we would have returned, and recommended it to our friends and family.

Best hotel for kids. We had such a fabulous time, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was ever too much. They have really thought of everything to keep kids entertained. Food was beautiful and the wine tasting each evening diffently a bonus

The Fairytale Hotel delivered in all regards: food, service, activities, and facilities. They really thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. Our daughter had the time of her life, which meant that my husband and I could also relax and enjoy ourselves. We're already planning our next trip back.

This hotel is paradise for families with kids under 10. The facilities and activities are so thoughtfully designed. My youngest enjoyed the playground, the animals and the alpaca trekking and my older children loved the pool with its obstacle course and ice skating. Adults also managed to relax and I loved the steam at wellness at the top and also the free wine tasting. Food was delicious - we loved the breakfast spread and the 4 dinners we had were varied and delicious.

Me and my family had great time at Maerchenhotel - the kids truly enjoyed participating in so many activities and want to get back again. Me and my wife managed to rest well when kids were away, for the first time in some time.

The Märchenhotel in Braunwald was a fantastic choice for our family ski vacation. The hotel itself was charming and full of character, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, with comfortable beds and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The real highlight of our trip, however, was the ski experience. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the slopes, and the skiing itself was fantastic. The trails were well-groomed and offered something for skiers of all levels, from beginners to experts. Our children especially loved the ski school, where they received excellent instruction and made great progress. Overall, we had an incredible time at the Märchenhotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a ski vacation with family. The combination of charming accommodations, excellent skiing, and a family-friendly atmosphere made for a truly unforgettable experience.
