Not as expected. But the reception is very kind-hearted.
Satisfactory Some new year entertainment would have been good . Although asked still unsure about swimming arrangements . Is it public pool we advised to visit ? Why no facility to use adjacent hotel which seems of good standard and has pool and bistro??

Very comfortable apartment with excellent facilities in a delightful area of the UK. Appropriate clothing required to cope with likely weather conditions.

This is one of the worst hotels you can find in Windermere. Trust me, do not book this one if you want to have a peaceful time in such a lovely town. 1. They advertise incorrect pictures of the room and assign you wrong room types. My booking picture showed balcony but they assigned me one without a balcony. The hotel manager said he was not aware that that hotel booking is being advertised wrongly. What kind of manager doesn't even know where and how his hotel rooms are being listed. 2. The bed is not king or super king as advertised. Worst - the room had a broken double bed due to which one of us had to sleep on the floor. 3. There was no one at reception when I reached and no instructions were left. I had to make an international call to check in. 4. No action is taken even after you make a complain. They all disappear after 4 pm and no service after that. 5. Toilet flush was not working ...had to live with dirty toilet for 1 day.

We allocated you in the category you booked via a 3rd party platform. Your house (sleep 6) had a balcony in the living room overlooking the garden. The reception manager only commented that he was not aware of anything wrongly advertised. The platforms have a gallery of photos for each category. The beds are indeed king size. We are sorry to hear that the pull down bed in your living room had a broken leg. This has been replaced, apologies if it caused any inconvenience during your stay. Unfortunately there was not a phone contact number that we could contact to. Your booking 'agoda' ******* didn't have your details nor we were able to send you a message via ******* platform, hence we had to wait for you to contact us. You rang the emergency number and we provided you with the code for the self check-in. OUr office hours are from 8.30am to 6pm midweek, and only Sundays we are open until 5pm, however we are reachable on extreme emergencies 24/7. Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused during your stay and we are sorry to hear that we did not live up to your expectations due to unsuitable accommodation. We recommend you to book a Premier apartment if you visit us again. Thank you

Excellent accommodation in nice cottage, very conveniently located for walking to Lake Windermere and into Bowness village.
