Welcome to Sandy Souls Frisco- Stay in this upper level, 2 bedroom 1 bath hideaway that's every fisherman's dream. Fully renovated yet retaining a rustic charm. The house sits on 1 acre with 3 sides of waterfront for fishing and a ramp to launch your own kayak /paddleboard, or bring your boat and dock it here with the ability for a 25' boat. Enjoy mornings on the Large front porch with a screened in area or the upper level deck over looking the Pamlico Sound with beautiful views of waterfront living and the most colorful sunsets. We're within driving distance to restaurants ,shops and beaches. Our rental comes with everything that you need, free to use any time. A washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and gas grill. Coming in 2026 we are remodeling the lower level and adding a master bedroom, Private bath, another bedroom, and entertainment area with wet bar.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs and cats less than 50 lbs per pet (limit 2 pets total).You are responsible for any damage caused by pets.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Trash pickup is Sunday and Wednesday nights. Enjoy one the best beaches on the East Coast. There is no place like Frisco on Hatteras Island/OBX. The Gulf Stream runs right off the coast, making the water almost 10 degrees warmer than OBX towns north of Avon. Relax to the sounds of the surf; build a bonfire on the beach; go surfing, kite sailing or scuba diving; try your hand at surf fishing or join a deep sea fishing trip. You will quickly find out why Hatteras Island beaches are frequently rated in the top 10 of USA beaches.Cottage has one of the best views on Hatteras--without paying high oceanfront rates!!! Rooftop observation deck has awesome night sky star gazing and sunsets. The cottage has beautiful ocean and bay views and is located in the village of Frisco on Hatteras Island. Cottage is fully furnished three bedrooms (two BRs with queen beds, one BR with four twin bunk beds). There is also a separate den with doors that could be used as a 4th bedroom with a queen futon. Cottage sleeps 8 to 10 people comfortably and has two full baths plus large outside shower. Lots of updates in the last five years, including kitchen, bathrooms, new flooring, new decking..... Kitchen has been completely remodeled with new cabinets, counters and appliances--dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig and regular coffee maker. Also washer/dryer, wet bar with mini frig, charcoal grill, multi level decks with furniture including covered deck with gate for your dog to safely enjoy the ocean breezes. Hang your hammock from the hooks on the covered deck to enjoy an afternoon nap or read your book.From the newly refinished roof top observation deck you can see miles of beaches and ocean and you can watch the beautiful sunsets over the sound. With Hatteras' dark sky designation, you will find some of the best star gazing. Other amenities included high speed WiFi; TVs in living room and den with cable. Cottage also has a stereo set to local channel for news and music; many board and card games; movies and books. There are ceiling fans in most rooms and central A/C throughout. We allow up to two dogs, up to 60 pounds each. NO CATS or other pets. It is a short a thirty second walk over the beautiful dunes to the beach. Watch dolphins play in the ocean from the living room or deck. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the bay. Let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep. Cottage is on a quiet, dead end road. U shaped driveway holds up to four cars. Some beach chairs/toys provided in the outdoor shower. Only 5-10 minute drive to: : the Cape Hatteras lighthouse, the Canadian Hole for kite boarding/windsurfing/kayaking and the Hatteras ferry to Ocracoke. Multiple great restaurants within a short drive. Cottage Rents SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY IN PRIME SEASON. Off season dates have more flexibility. Rent direct from owner to avoid all the "extra" fees charged by the local realtors/management agents. Save yourself hundreds of dollars. NC does require collection of sales and occupancy taxes on all rentals. The Cottage has three bedrooms: two with a queen bed to sleep 2 people each; the third has two sets of bunkbeds for a total of 4 twin beds which could sleep two adults on bottom beds and two children on top or four children using all four bunks. On the top floor is a separate den with door that has a queen futon, so that could be use as an extra bedroom for up to two people.All beds have pillows and light blankets. Extra pillows and blankets are in bedroom closets. Guests are responsible for bed linens (sheets/pillowcases), towels and any paper goods. A signed lease by Guest who is 25 or older is required, listing all guests and dogs. Owner rents only to family groups; no college students or other groups.
