Shopping centers & restaurants in Anderson are only a few minutes away while Clemson University Football and Death Valley are 11 miles away, or about a 15 minute drive.Description of layout: The newly renovated house boast 5 bedrooms and 5 baths. On the top floor is a private master suite with vaulted ceilings and a luxurious bathroom with clawfoot tub and shower. Down the hall is a bedroom with a full bed and trundle underneath. Enjoy the window seat and built in storage as you look out over the lake. There is also a small private bathroom with shower.On the main floor there are two living areas (both with large screen TV's) as well as a well equipped kitchen, no need to bring common condiments or dishes as we have you covered! There is a family room off the kitchen as well as large living area with access to the covered porch (with dinning and seating and stairs to lower level). The dining room seats 10 and is perfect for all your family and friends. Rooms on this floor consist of a bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom that has access to the main living area. The bedroom off the kitchen is perfect for kids with a queen/twin bunk bed as well as a twin trundle. There is also a bathroom off the kitchen with shower.The lower level is pure fun! We have an arcade, foosball table, air hockey and bumper pool. There are loads of board games as well as outdoor cornhole. In the living room enjoy a large screen TV and full size sleeper/sofa. In the adjacent bedroom is a queen bed as well as a twin daybed. There's a newly remodeled bathroom that has access off the bedroom and laundry area. In the laundry you will find plenty of laundry detergent, extra towels, life vests etc. to enjoy in the hot tub or down on the dock!Outside off the lower level is pure peace, privacy and serenity. We have a beautiful hot tub, loungers and kayaks to enjoy on the massive dock that is all yours during your stay. The house was perfect. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen was well supplied. The dining area was large enough so we could all get around the table. There are two gathering areas so plenty of space to sit and talk and play games. Each time we had a question there was a quick response. The driveway is a little steep but once you are there it feels like you are in a secluded Mtn cabin. Family ages ranged from 1 - 76, so this is not always easy. We had space for everyone, and the kitchen /eating area were a fun hangout. The oversized dock with seating was a huge bonus. The only things I would improve is an extra kitchen trash can, an extra outside trash can, and a bit of a better path down to the lake. But the effort was worth it! We had a ball, floating, swimming and jumping in to the lake! And the renovations to the house are great. Also appreciated are the kitchen necessities...containers, bags, a few spices... all in all, it was absolutely the experience we were hoping for. There was a nice sized back yard for wiffle ball or other yard games. The picturesque views inside this 4 bed/4 bath house only pale in comparison to the direct waterfront access this property has to offer! Vast spaces for family and friends to make lasting memories while they relax, play hard and fellowship together!This home boasts a two-level living space with almost identical floor plans which is ideal for a multi-family stay. With a full kitchen, living space, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on each level you'll have plenty of room to call your own. There are a total of nine (9) beds in this home which will accommodate up to 16 people comfortably. Parking is available on both levels with enough room for a truck and trailer if needed.The lake is a short walk down the path to a private dock. If you bring your own boat, or rent one, there is a slip available for docking. We are located on deep water which averages approximately 25 ft. off the dock (this varies depending on water levels which fluctuate). This means the walkway has a fairly steep incline, so that's something to be aware of.We provide the basic necessities (linens, pillows, bath and beach towels, toiletries, dishes, pots/pans, bakeware, flatware, etc.). You'll find anything else you may need within a 15 minute drive to Clemson Blvd (off Exit 19). Welcome to the Edgewater Inn on Lake Hartwell. This cozy two-story cottage boasts a relaxed setting with its own private dock. Step inside this lakefront home and immediately notice impressive views of Lake Hartwell. Enjoy main level living spaces that connect with the outdoor patio space where you can enjoy sunset views. While one queen sized bedroom plus bathroom is enjoyed on the main level, two bedrooms and one bathroom are peacefully located upstairs. Enjoy boating, swimming or sunbathing.The spaceInterior living: Has ample room for a family to relax with two couches and a swivel chair. The television is a smart tv.Kitchen and eating: The kitchen is equipped with all you might need to cook and serve. From a coffee pot to glassware, it’s all there.The seating easily seats 8-10 between the dining room table and bar height table.Bedrooms: One queen bedroom downstairs (bathroom downstairs as well). One king room upstairs that boasts lake views with a Keurig coffee pot and a gorgeous balcony. A second bedroom upstairs offers a queen bed and two twins (one trundle). The queen downstairs and king upstairs both have smart TVs.Bathrooms: Two bathrooms both with walk in showers. One downstairs, one upstairs.Outside/lake: We have a huge private dock in a little cove that is right next to big water. If you are looking out the house windows…we are the second dock…. It has a green roof. It is towards the tip of the peninsula which has amazing sunset views. The water depth is deep…we never need to chase water even when the lake is at its lowest. The water depth where you would park a boat is 9-18 feet deep (depending on time of year). We have caught many fish off the dock!For boaters: There are a couple boat ramps within 5-10 minutes of the house. Make sure to check local lake regulations for any fee for usage or closures.- Richland Creek Boat Ramp. This is at the tip of Richland Creek road off of the main Providence Church road that runs through the community.- Jarrett Access Area Ramp. This is at the tip of Sunset Lane. Also, off of the main Providence Church Road through the community.Once you have launched your boat, feel free to use our dock for storage during your stay. Furthermore, our front yard allows for parking your trailer up to about 45 feet. If you are a competition fisherman and want to keep your boat hooked up, you can easily park at a diagonal and fit (we also have outside electrical on the house you can plug into.) Please be mindful of the adjacent neighbors…you cannot park on or in front of their properties.The outside patio seats 8. It has a charcoal grill. We keep charcoal around along with lighter fluid.Entertainment, games & lake toys:- Peddle boat, lounge rafts, water hammock and an inflatable canoe for two.- Cornhole and Tiki Toss- Board gamesPets: we love animals but also know animals can be disruptive and damage things when they are not in their comfy place. We allow 1-2 pets depending on the size. 1 pet any size or 2 under 40 lbs each. No cats. We do have an enclosed (fenced) yard and patio for your pets to roam.Extra: We love this home so much and personally use it when guests are not, please love it and use it as your own.Guest accessYou have access to the entire home with the exception of one closet. No garage access.There is a broken down golf cart that is unusable to guests (and owners, LOL.)
