Great welcome with dancers. Room are large. The beds bases are made of concrete and if not careful you can easily bang your toes. Good shower. Rooms are dark. Food was buffet style with loads of other travellers. Pleased we only stayed here for one night

This is an absolutely exquisite hotel and we stayed in the new wing which is beautiful and decorated with amazing architecture and interior. I would’ve given it five stars but the Internet was spotty and kept kicking me out, and the worst experience I had was on the elevator. I got stuck on the elevator and the lights went out and I could not exit. I got very nervous and scared. I tried the other elevator and the same thing happened so I walked down the three flights of stairs to the front desk. My card key also did not work twice so they had to give me a regular key but the woman at the reception desk was so sweet and she walked back with me and we also got stuck in the elevator together. The hotel is so new that I think everything has not been worked out yet. The rooms are spacious and wonderful and the bed is quite comfortable.

Here with a tour group with buffet dinner included. Looked nice selection of food but all that was supposed to be hot was tepid at most and when you put it on a cold plate inedible. Hot food at breakfast this morning was no better. Seems stupid that all the serving dishes appear to have heating elements in them but not switched on. One of our tour has been in room all day with stomach upset. Also just had 1 hour massage which ended up being 50 minutes including shower. Not cheap 450 dihams. Also my laundry just came back, shirts folded beautifully but wet, everything else dry. Nice big hotel rooms good etc. If our dinner tonight was not included our group agreed we certainly wouldn’t be eating here. All these complaints are easily fixed but at this time I have to say out least enjoyable place we have stayed in our 10 days in Morocco so far.

Hotel Xaluca is a large hotel overlooking the town of Dades (great view from the hotel) and the valley the town is located in. Starting in the lobby, and including the room, there was lots of unique works of art. The decor of the resort, including the room, was rather 'interesting'. The room was good sized but on the dark side. Watch out for the concrete base of the bed. The dining room offered a large buffet for meals. The food was good but not outstanding. A pool with a hot tub and one tennis court are available on site.

Great views from the outside of our room, a bit dangerous to access however as we were missing a step down compared to other rooms. Decor is interesting. Staff were very good. Buffet was enormous with lots of repetition and services a large number of large tour groups.

Welcomed by singers at the front door you know you are going to enjoy your stay here. Comfortable, spacious rooms await you with a well-appointed bathroom. The hotel contains many quirky art pieces and paintings that you can admire as you walk around. Swimming pool and a well-appointed bar for those who wish to partake a tipple or 2.

I stayed here as part of an organized tour. This hotel was overcrowded with loud tour groups, which made it difficult to enjoy the pool and outdoor areas. The rooms were okay, and there are nice views of the valley. Breakfast and dinner were included with our stay, and they were both buffet style. The food was HORRIBLE. It tasted as bad as it looked, and 4 members of our group got sick from eating the buffet dinner (2 had really bad food poisioning). We ate a lot of food during our 3 week travels around Morocco, and this hotel had the worst food, by far.

Lovely welcome with Traditional Music and Dancers.Hotel very well built with heavy furniture. Rooms were a good size. Shower room ,good, but the step into it is high and difficult at night if you don't have the light on. Restaurant food was good and generous. Bar was well equipped. Nice Jacuzzi outside as well as a pool, with an amazing view of the valley.

Absolutely dreadful. The beds are on a concrete basis with wooden board on top of concrete that juts into your shins. The walls are sprayed lumpy artex and the food in the restaurant is inedible!!! The restaurant is also noisy and full of coach tours. Really unhappy with it.
