Great accommodation, close to the Gondola - only few min walk up the street. The staff is extremely helpful and will please any request. We had most of our meals at the hotel restaurant and the food was great. They gave us a discount for Black Tiger where we spent most of the nights singing songs.

WE have been 3 adults and 2 kids. The hotel was not maintained good enough, needs a major renovation. Food very simple and cold, when you get for a later dinner. Not clean enough. Situated far from the central plaza. Only the reception staff was good.

The hotel was located very close to the gondola, the staff very kind,the breakfast was various and tasty, the pool and sauna were nice and clean . Now regarding the clean in the room was disaster. The bathroom didn't look like it was ever cleaned before ,the pillow and the blanket were yellow and dirty and the dust in the room was not vacuum.

Stayed here in a group of six for a ski trip. We read the negative reviews before the stay and were worried. We didn't need to be. The rooms were dated but huge. The beds were comfy and the shower was warm and powerful. I've stayed in far worse in the Alps and paid 3x the price. The location is great. Less than a 5 min walk to centre of Town and lifts. The staff were all friendly and working hard. The breakfast was not the best but was adequate. The pool and spa facilities were great for a hotel at this price. For the price we paid it was amazing. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Everyone we spoke to during our stay had the same feelings as us. Would stay again if returning to Borovets.

We were a group of 12 that stayed at Hotel Iceberg for 1 week and none of our party had any complaints. We were very worried what the hotel would be like after reading so may negative reviews however we experience none of the issues we read. Showers were hot, rooms were very warm and housekeeping came every day. The hotel was clean and the spa was brilliant after a long days skiing. Some of the breakfast items were cold however the food was all very tasty and for the price was a welcome addition every morning. If you are thinking of staying here please don't let the reviews put you off as this the standard of the hotel made our holiday!!

An amazing week away skiing and staying in the iceberg hotel. The staff were amazing including the great bar man borislav (Bob). The hotel was warm, friendly and great place to chill downstairs in the spa following a day skiing. The breakfast was good expect for it being cold (unfortunately). Great experience.

book if its only hotel you can afford basic but okay for the price. stayed for 3 nights 2nd day after skiing came back to find our items had been moved around. it appeared our clothing in the wardrobe had moved. both passports where in my husbands jeans on a shelf in the wardrobe came back the room my passport was on the desk and my husbands was underneath the wardrobe right at the back - really dont know what went on in our room. on leaving - hotel tried to make out we hadnt paid! saying ********** paid on departure. still didnt believe us after showing app booking confirmation and PayPal statement- finally spoke to manager on the phone 30 mins later . turns out our room was a private rent within the hotel and the owner hadnt paided the bill - this caused a mad rush to the air port

Very much just OK. A 4* hotel this is not. It's OK if you're just looking for a place to crash in Borovets but it's on the outskirts of town (10 min walk to town if you're not in ski boots). Has a sauna but no jacuzzi or steam room and the pool is not really big enough for swimming properly. Breakfast was average if you got there reasonably early but by 8am everything on the hot counters is cool and doesn't get replaced.
