Buena Vista Boquete

The price was fair considering what's on offer in Boquere. Nice mountain view, hot water, beautiful common areas. Have parking nearby.There wasn't easy to find someone around the hotel, but if you did. They were smiley and helpful. The room I stayed at needed a bit of TLC, chipped floor, the shower door didn't properly opened and there must be a better way to avoid people taking the remote with them other than the solution they got . I could ignore that because all together it is a nice establishment BUT if like me you enjoy a good night sleep maybe it is not the place for you, as every night during my stay I was awakened by the loud banging of the doors of people coming back at 12, 1, 2 or 3am, their chatting on the corridor or even in their rooms. I turned on the fan (even if it wasn't hot) it helped with the chatting noise but not with the banging doors. Maybe that would be the only reason I wouldn't come back.

My wife and I have stayed at Buena Vista twice: in July 2021 and in February/March 2022. On each occasion, we stayed for several days. It's a 5 minute walk from a cluster of Boquete's best restaurants. To me, "best" implies great food at reasonable prices. Roughly half the rooms have superb views of the town, and the other half have gorgeous, green mountain views. Owned and operated by a friendly young couple (Kristhian is Panamanian and Elizabeth is American) they took care to offer some nice touches. The rooms are immaculate. One of the rooms (the studio) has its own kitchen. Otherwise, there's a superbly clean shared kitchen on the second floor, and they offer laundry services. We appreciated that the other guests were respectful to the extent that the kitchen was kept clean. The entire top floor is a lovely hang-out area. It has comfortable, high quality lounge chairs and a table from which you could eat. The outer deck is massive, and it also includes tables from which to eat. I used the outer deck to exercise every morning, surrounded by chirping birds and the gorgeous views of the mountains and the town. It would be amazing for yoga or morning meditation. This hotel does not attract a party clientele. We mingled with young, respectful backpackers and families (from Panama and beyond). Our room had a large bed and a bunkbed for children. I think most (if not all) of the rooms had the same. WiFi was very good throughout the hotel. If you're looking for something with a great view that's chill, clean, close to everything in town and has a cool vibe, Buena Vista is the place.

Chambre avec balcon donnant et surplombant la ville . Je ne vois pas de défaut si ce n’est de ne pas voir souvent le staff. La cuisine avec vue sur la ville est extrêmement bien équipée et nous y avons fait nos petits dej . Situé à 3 mn du début de la ville et 6 mn des collectivos qui vous amènent sur le lieux des randos pour 2 à 3 dollars. Évitez les taxis .

No se trata de un hotel es un motel o una pensión , no existen estacionamientos seguros dentro del perímetro del hotel, es muy incomodo para subir tus maletas y esto no está visible en las imágenes disponibles del hotel , ni te lo advierten en las políticas al momento de reservar . No son conscientes en devolver o cancelar la reservación si el cliente no está satisfecho , se quedaron con el 100% del pago realizado
