We stayed at this charming boutique hotel with stunning views for five nights in July and had a wonderful and memorable experience. A huge thanks to Josefina, Marvin, Nairobi, Elian, Alina and the rest of the staff for their friendly and accommodating hospitality! If you visit during the rainy season (which we did), I recommend scheduling your daily excursions for the morning when it’s sunny and dry and you can be heading back to the hotel for a delicious lunch when the usual afternoon shower starts. Our family's favorite outing was the Cascada Jaquatta Waterfall – which we had all to ourselves. We took full advantage of the modest Happy Hour with daily signature drinks before heading to dinner. They stocked the fridge with beer and red/white wine which was available to guests at all times. There was only one restaurant, but every meal was delicious and plentiful - you won't go wrong with any "Panama-special" menu item. Our last night was amazing – they prepared a special 4th of July celebration dinner, and we ended the evening with a karaoke sing-along with all the guests and even a few of the staff joined! Overall, this was an excellent vacation, for our three-generation/extended family of 10! A perfect blend of relaxation and adventure in a beautiful and welcoming place.

Gorgeous location, gardens, comfy rooms and beds, friendly helpful staff, stellar daytime excursions, Panamanian meals (especially soups), wine choices very good. Minor recommendations: bigger pool, Italian dinner and all desserts mediocre at best, would like to see offered daily: fresh local fruit, batidas and fresh squeezed juice. Have better descriptions of excursions- for example, Volcan Baru trip is via Jeep, in early AM to see the sunrise. Not to be missed.

Los establos is located on a hill overlooking stunning Baru volcano, with amazing chef food, kind and smoky staff, beauty spacious and clean rooms and access to so many exciting outdoor activities. We had a perfect memorable week here. Thank you Los Establos

Best massage I have ever had. Facial was amazing as well. Loved each and every employee! They made me feel like a friend! Food is delicious and very creative. Resort is super clean and very inviting. Everyone in our group agreed, we will definitely go back there again!

Los Establos was a lovely resort and the team, especially in the food & beverage department was fantastic. They took the time to get to know us and make our stay fantastic. If this was a normal stay it would be 5/5 stars. But it's not a normal stay. This was a "free trip" that we paid thousands of dollars for at a charity auction. We were shocked when we learned that in addition to the thousands we spent on the voucher, we still owed $3,000 in "all-inclusive surcharges" on our room for a week. The food was great. The service was great. The facilities were great. That being said, nothing about this place worth the ~$5,000 we paid for it and the value of the trip was closer to 2/5 stars. These certificates are an absolute scam. That being said, if you book straight through the hotel with transparent pricing, it's worth the cost and we highly recommend it.

This was our second visit to Los Establos and it again exceeded our expectations. They have added a new building, a pickleball court, and expanded their excursions. The food was excellent for all of our meals and the staff were wonderful, treating us like family. If we needed anything, you merely had to ask. We brought another couple with us on this trip and they were equally impressed.

Excellent stuff , beautiful area hotel room needs a bit update . Lots to do ,great hikes and activities Enjoyed the 4 pm afternoon snack and drinks . Not enough activities at night no entertainment. Dinner variety was enough and always very fresh Spa could have had more options and later hours especially since afternoon activities were ending late .

What an amazing family vacation! I cannot say enough about how amazing the staff, food, resort, town, and people are when visiting this location. They truly define a five star experience for a family vacation. I would highly recommend! So much to do in the area or just relax at the resort and read a book. You will not regret coming here.

Wow! What a special experience. Pricey but worth the all inclusive rates if you don’t want to worry about anything beyond relaxing. Beautiful and spotless hotel surrounded by gorgeous views, gardens and a coffee finca. A little outside downtown Boquete. What really makes this the best place to stay was the amazingly, friendly and helpful staff. They worked hard to make sure our every need was met, from driving us around, setting up tours, providing an amazing massage, taking care of our laundry and all the delicious food for every meals we had in the restaurant. We also enjoyed our evening happy hours. We recommend the coffee tour and zip lining activity. If you are hiker and down something more challenging don’t miss the 3 lost waterfalls. Be prepared for some rain if you visit in Dec. A big thank you to Marvin, Gabriel, Nairobi, Ricardo, Josefina and Elian for making our time in Boquete so special!
