One night stay here - in Suite des Templiers - amazing overall experience. Hotel is surprisingly close to the main road, but once you pull in and are met by the bellman it's a charming place to stay. Our room was ready a little early, and we were walked through the gardens to the suite in a different building. The room itself was stunning - huge reception area with large walk in wardrobe, large sitting area on the right with plenty of room for the extra z-bed for daughter to stay in, along with a complimentary bar with high-end spirits, fridge with drinks, coffee machine and even an ice maker. Decor was bold and modern, but in keeping with the heritage of the hotel overall. Bedroom was spacious and well appointed, with an amazingly comfortable king sized bed. The highlight of the room had to be the bathroom though - almost as big as the rest of the suite with a walk-in shower, double sinks, two baths (one a huge sunken jacuzzi) and the private sauna. Surprisingly was also a japanese washlet automatic toilet, along with a very well appointing dressing area to one side for doing your make-up. Dinner was amazing, classic michelin-star tasting menu and unbotrusive service. Breakfast was similarly a high-end affair, with local pastries, home-made jams and eggs cooked to order. Overall - amazing stay, and would look forward to another visit in the future.
