A beautiful B&B with a lovely view of the Saint Lawrence river. Very kind and friendly hosts. Delicious and generous breakfast (and they even provided vegan and gluten-free food for my husband to eat). We liked everything about our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer!

We loved our four night stay at La Princesse des Champs. It exceed all expectations. Location is ideal and picturesque. Located right near the Montmorency Falls ( Chute Montmorency in French) and less than 30 min drive to Quebec city. About 5 min drive to the island across the bridge. We had no difficulty driving to Quebec city every night for dinner. Our room was super clean with a nice comfortable bed. The bathroom and the shower are sparkling clean. Common area included a big kitchen with walk out deck that opens to the beautiful view of the river. We really enjoyed having the tea on the deck. Breakfast deserves a special mention. Alex and Elena cater to every guest's needs. Eggs and omelettes are made fresh for every guest. Jams, waffles, cereal, donuts, hash browns, cheese and cold cuts are all delicious. Coffee and tea are available all day in the kitchen for guest to enjoy. Alex and Elena provided the tips and suggestions on surrounding area attractions. We enjoyed driving around Île d'Orléans island. Did wine tastings/apple picking and picked up some locally made jams. Canyon Sainte-Anne is only 30 min drive and definitely worth a visit as well. We stopped by see Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré on the way back from the Canyon. We thank Alex and Elena for their hospitality and a perfect stay.

This was our first bed and breakfast experience and we loved it! We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the waterfall and the island which we wanted to visit during our trip to Quebec. The bed was comfy and homey breakfast with views of the river was a great start for a day. We felt much more prepared to explore the city and the area around after talking with our host Alex and hearing his suggestions about best places to see, best spots for parking and other things to do. This small hotel did not have amenities of a traditional big hotel but for us it felt like we spent those couple of days in a good friend’s house.

Great view!
The best part of this place was the deck overlooking the river and the convenience to going to other places outside of Quebec City - Montgomery Fall and the I'll de Orleans.

Amazing service - very cozy and calming place!!! Alex and Elena were very warm and the breakfast presentation was excellent.The place is close to Montmorency Falls and able to get to Old Quebec City easily to enjoy the area!!!

We were looking for a place close enough to Quebéc touristic area, but away from all the noise. The place is 15 minutes driving from the Citadel. Couldn't be better.
Alex and Elena provided our family an amazing stay. The bedroom was spotless clean. Actually the whole house is very well maintained.
We really enjoyed our breakfast time, eggs were deliciously cooked.
We definitely recommend this place and absolutely would stay there again next time we visit the area.
