The building is very poorly maintained. Reception staff very unfriendly. Rooms poorly cleaned. Staff can be heard talking very loudly in the bar in the building itself. Very disappointed. Pretty bad for the price.

We are never coming back because we were left disappointed. Considering it is a 4-star hotel, I believe it is nowhere near that standard. For what we received, the price is definitely too high... When we arrived, the reception gave us only one room key. No additional information was provided unless we asked ourselves. In the room, there was no bottle of water as stated on the internet. The room wasn't clean, the bathroom mirrors were dirty, there was no hand soap, and the TV had a frozen picture. The sound insulation was poor. They didn’t ask us about car parking, so we were free to park without an additional fee since no one checked anyway (the car was scratched after 2 days, security 0!!!). The experience in the aquapark was also bad! The pool water was too cold, the jacuzzi was also not sufficiently heated. The webpage contains conflicting information about the aquapark access on the day of checkout. One section states that it can be used until 11 AM at a cost of 10 EUR per person, while another FAQ page mentions access only until 10 AM, with a fee of 10 EUR per room. The website also states that the towel rental costs 3€, but in reality, it's 5€. Breakfast was average. The employees are polite but not sufficiently prepared.

For reference we booked the presidential suite connecting to an executive room for two nights. On the plus side the view from the suite was beautiful but there no curtains. No curtains! You woke up with daylight each morning and had no privacy. The aircon was broken, we asked repeatedly for it to be fixed, it was not fixed in our entire stay. The temperature had soared to 38 degrees and there were no curtains to deaden the heat. It was unbearable. The bathroom had no flannels, no conditioner, no body lotion. There was no water given in the rooms. As an “Eco” hotel, housekeeping will only service the room on request! The room smelt dusty, it was clearly not used often. The connecting children's room was dark and dingy......... but it had curtains! Breakfast finishes at 10am. Bang on! We were not advised of breakfast times on our arrival so missed it on the first day. The next day servers were grumpy, food had not been refilled and replaced and nobody cleared away the tables. We did not use any of the hotel facilities as everywhere looked grubby. We did enjoy a beautiful day out in Lake Bled which is 20 mins away by car and the reason for booking. Be warned, on the final day we returned from breakfast at 10:10am to find both doors to our rooms wide open. No explanation was given for this. This is certainly not a 4 star hotel. If you go with the expectation that it is a 2-3 star then you wont be disappointed.

Bohinj and its surroundigs is beatiful, like Wonderland! Bohinj ECO Hotel was good, close to everything we wsnted to visit. We enjoyed the Aquapark, staff is reall friendly, very kind, meals are delicious. Room was OK: matrassess are comfy, though we could not control the air conditioning- it was too cold for us.

We chose this hotel for our family holidays. The hotel is very modern, the staff is friendly. The best asset in my opinion is the pool, my daughter loved it a lot and we have spent there quite a lot of time having great time. Another great asset was the hotel restaurant, with breakfasts and dinners. They presented a variety of local foods with a great variety of selection. However, I am going the averagy grade as got a very small room without balcony and we felt very claustrofobic. The bathrooms were renovated and nice, yet another flaw was the broken air conditioning, so the days and nights were prety stuffy. Otherwise it is a good choice.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, although there were a couple of issues which I found quite annoying. One is that the bathroom door handle was broken, and this wasn’t fixed until the day after. Another instance when this comes across is when the air conditioning was dripping on the headboard below, which was never truly fixed. I appreciate that maintenance issues aren’t the easiest to fix, but they were quite frustrating. Other than that, everything was brilliant! The dinner buffet and breakfast buffet were brilliant, with different selections every day. The aqua park and pool were also very enjoyable, although these may get busy sometimes. And then there are things like piano performances, which I was lucky to get to watch one of, the guy playing piano was the most talented pianist I’d ever seen! And of course, the staff were very helpful, kind and welcoming. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here, and would recommend coming here, but don’t expect it to be perfect!

The room was ok to start off with but then we found out that the air conditioning is rubbish, the TV is appalling and constantly freezing, and if you don't have kids with you definitely do not stay here. Buffet dinner was ok at 23Euros each but too many uncontrolled kids running around the restaurant fingering all the buffet food. Annoying that there is no tea and coffee making facility but that's out fault for not checking. Like several other reviews, the curtains seem to break and come off the tracks and so it's difficult to get the room dark! When I asked them to fix it they did half a job. The aquapark was included in our room deal. Just to warn you though the place is grubby and not attended by any life guards. Unlike other reviews, I didn't meet any outstanding staff members and instead they were mostly indifferent to us and other guests. Definitely not a 4 star hotel
